9) Their top guy told me renewals in health insurance was largely non existent. He told me the business is fuelled by new business, and so far he is right. Most of his agents are making money from new business sales.

...because this guy's likely just a salesman and doesn't know how to take care of his clients. This couldn't be a more untrue statment.

He once showed me his renewal check, and yes it was rather large, but he said for new agents you could forget it for a few years, commissions had to come from new sales.

Again, theres no complaints in downtown indy - his agency is well liked by all.

Why are you guys so negative?????

He has not hurt anyone, nor does he mislead anyone, what do you get from being negative?

I am happy, his agents are happy.

Sounds like another charlatan in it for the short-term buck. Of course the problem with that approach is that it never ends.

I have only been in the business for just over 1 year.

It sounds like you have been in the business for a while.

Good for you if your renewals are large.

Again, he is just straight shooter. He has never promised anything he cannot deliver on.

It's great that you're happy. One year is not much of a body of work, you're not even dry behind the ears yet!

If you can tell me the same thing after ten years - then I buy it.

Is it perfect, probably not, but then what is?????

I just know he has given me a place to call home, good support and a good environment.

It works for me and alot of others, just because its not ofor you does not mean its ad for anyone else.
