Anyone Work for Ameri-life?

The Gerber Med Supp is not very competitively priced. There are others available for a better premium. The Gerber looks to be just another subsidiary of MOO. Good luck selling babies to grandmas and grandpas...haha

I just got licensed with Gerber...through AMERILIFE MARKETING GROUP LLC. My agent # is the same # as my MoO #.:twitchy:

How can AmeriLife get a cut of everyone's commissions even if you are not with them? That makes no sense to me.

And isn't AmeriLife only really big on the east coast?

Who in the world wants to sell a product in which the next agent with a cheaper SAME policy always wins?

And this doesn't happen in FE?:skeptical:

As far as lifetime renewals, after the first year FE renewals are pocket change.

I'll write an occasional FE policy. I'm not knocking it, but it's got drawbacks too.

Work for WHOM? WHAT?

If a client asks for a med sup(which they do) I will write them up with one; I never will sell them one. Who in the world wants to sell a product in which the next agent with a cheaper SAME policy

AS FOR MED SUPS - IT"S A PRICE WAR ANYMORE

As for your ignorant quote -selling supplements is not just about price, its about benefits and relationships with the client. Over the years I have not lost very many supplement clients because my company had a rate increase. I usually have 3 or 4 policies in the house to begin with so I am their agent no matter what i.e. Med Supp, Life, LTC, Annuity, SPWL, Pt D. etc. Get my drift? You dont "sell" med supps - your losing out on a lot of renewals - med supps pay out usually for 5-7 years at the original commission -- sounds like a good deal to me.

Good luck

I worked for this company for a total of 4 months. They are theives to say the least They scare seniors into forking over there hard earned cash and confuse them so much they don't know what to do. I have been gone from there for over 5 months and have made more money being honest in 1 week then I made with them for 4 months!!! They charge you for everything and now I just got a notice from a lawyer saying I owe them $1,200. Funny because thats the same amount of money they owed me when I quit. As soon as you leave there, they instruct their agents to go out and roll your business which is called "churning" and thats how they can charge you back. Also if you don't put a letter of resignation with a date, they will continue to charge you $60 a month as a desk fee, which is a joke! If you are thinking of going there for a job beware, you have been warned. They will haunt you for the rest of your career. I for one am going to fight them tooth and nail. I personally know many agents they did this to, so this is first hand knowlege, NOT RUMOR!!!

please provide any good or bad experience with this company? Thank you
RUN RUN RUN...Corporate is in ever changing upheavel...training is not what it is supposed to be...commission rate ever changing...this company is in a period of change and not all of it is good. Opportive word..CHANGE.............and its not always GOOD.

Yes you are correct...need to put yourself on record with their corporate attorney as others have about practices and policies. They appear to be trying to clean their act up but are failing due to so many management changes and ever ongoing administrative policies which do not work. Greed seems to be paramount. Good Luck......with this one.

Saraven, Is there really a class action suit? Amerilife is really trying to hurt me and other agents that left the company...Some are getting asked to pay back hefty sums of money, even though they were owed money by Amerilife...How can we get involved in this???

If there isn't there should be one...I'd be willing to help start one...they are disgraceful to say the least.l
