Its interesting and so informative to see this dialog..I agree with cliff...davidrain we know who you are...I just wonder when the class action suit will commence......bet there will be hundreds signing up....legit reasoning and verifiable. Those that prosper with ill intent and questionable ethic practices should be held accountable in this industry and others. Amerilife needs to clean up their act and not lay blame to previous...seems like our current presidential administation tactics. When all the dusts settles, there may be a good company based on customer service, ethics, etc. serving the general public if they go in that direction....but until then, Randy, Kara, Simon and I VOTE NO. Go Sing somehwere else, Dave.
Does anyone know anything about the class action suit Saraven is talking about???

Don't know of any at this time. I have heard many rumors of one getting started. I am sure when it does, everyone will hear about it and jump aboard.

RUN, RUN, RUN........AMERILIFE WOULD BE YOUR WORST NIGHTMARE...DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT JOINING THEM......THEY ARE SOME OF THE BIGGEWST CROOKS IN THE BUSINESS...THEY PLAY GAMES WITH YOUR COMMISSIONS AND 1099.....i RACKED UP 10,500 MILES ON MY CAR IN THE LAST QUARTER OF 2009....I RAN EVERY WORN OUT LEAD THEY GAVE ME...AND SPENT HOURS WITH IRATE CUSTOMERS WHO HAD BEEN SCAMMED BY PREVIOUS AGENTS.
COME TO FIND OUT PREVIOUS CROOKED AGENTS BECOME BRANCH MANAGERS.
BACK TO THE MILEAGE ...IF YOU DOLLOW THIER SYSTEM...LIKE I DID...YOU WILL GO BROKE ON GAS....AND THEN MAKE A PAUPER'S COMMISSION....

THEY PROMISE YOU THE MOON, RIP YOU OFF AND SEND YOU OUT THE DOOR IN A HEART BEAT IF YOU SAY ANYTHING NEGATIVE....THEY SHOULD BE REPORTED TO THE IRS FOR SCREWING UP REPORTED INCOME....MY 1099 CAME UP ABOUT $9,000 SHORT OF WHAT THEY PAID ME.....NOT SURE WHAT THE IRS WILL DO WHEN THEY SEE MY RETURN, ALL THE EXPENSES INCURRED AND THE LACK OF INCOME REPORTED....THIS SHOULD BE REALLY INTERESTING

I have worked for Ameri-life on and off for the better part of the last 21 years ( the years I didn't work for them I was either living in a state that wasn't part of their territory, or tried going out on my own, both with start-up MA companies (big mistake, et al Floridian Care, MD Medicare Choice, and the biggest joke of them all SMELLCARE), and with other products and high lead expenses. I have seen agents sell $100,000 annuities on pre-set phone appointments, and I have personally sold both medicare supplements and final expense plans with these leads. You have to have sales skills to succeed and not rely totally on the company to find your prospects. Most agents who fail are LAZY and don't work smart with whatever leads they are running. Ameri-life has recently partnered with Don Runge and his Lead Guru program and great results are already being seen. Two AGENTS in our office in Brevard County are on track to go on the President's cruise to the Caribbean, so only management making the trips is a blatant lie. Those who hate on ALHS need to go back to selling used cars and vacuum cleaners. You don't have the stones to be in the senior market.

I received correspondence from Amer-ilife on their non captive gerber life med supp product. Are their issues with this program as well.

If anyone knows of a class action suit against Amerilife...please let me know...I would be happy to join it.
These people have to be stopped...they are a disgrace to the industry and give those of us who actually practice ethically a bad reputation

As far as the Gerber Med Supp, They have the National deal, anyone who wants to write Gerber Med Supps will have to give a little to Ameri-Life. Make sure you look very closely at the advance agreement.
