Anyone Work for Ameri-life?

Yeah I could've typed paragraphs, but I was being lazy. Its not like I'm being tested for proper writing skills, and no, I'm not new, I've worked here almost a year now.

Here, let me show you.

This is not the business for lazy people!

But damned ain't it full of em? I've finally stopped replying to morons that come in here asking kindergarten level questions that they should have gathered from reading the basic publications in the area they are trying to be an expert in.

Like our buddy 5Pill. "Answer my questions and give me the information to make this one sale... "

Or any other person that can actually type: "What is the best med supp plan?"....

Makes my blood pressure go up knowing they are trying to sell plans with that type of knowledge base.

Actually I am anything but lazy at my job, and last time I checked this was a forum, so I am free to write whatever I like. It just seems to me there are a bunch of bitter people on here that prefer to blame their problems on everyone else. Try smiling a little, life is short.

I'm smiling all the way to the bank now that I'm not with Amer-lies anymore. Lets get something straight, I'm not bitter. I am doing so much better and I am so much more productive than I was with them. By the way, I was checking out the times on your posts and it looks like you post during work !!! :no:You get rattled so easy Erica. Take it easy, smile!! Life is to short........

You are being kind in using the word "lazy". How much additional effort does it take to move one's little finger to the left 1.25" and press the Enter key at the end of a thought?

I see that more as a failure to pay attention to detail, someone who just doesn't care. Everything we write and say is a direct reflection on who we are and, as I see it, how we conduct business.

One's ability to communicate effectively and properly is paramount in this business. It would be very difficult for me to have someone like that representing me. It should not matter that this is a discussion forum.

Actually during my breaks, but thanks for noticing!;)

Here is a little background...

I was an independent agent through Amerilife's Career Agency. Amerilife closed it's office, Vectored us and refused to release us unless we signed their Promissory Note. The note consisted of our Bond Balance + Advance Balance. They estimated that 60% would stay on the books (where they came up with that figure, I don't know). When they added the 40% left of the "advances" + the bond amount, they came up with a balance due.

It is my understanding that Mutual of Omaha pays Amerilife commissions for their Med Supps monthly and, therefore, they did actually advance $ when they paid. (I am not actually sure if they paid us the full year...I think that 1 month was applied to our bond account and 9 months was paid in advance...which in my calculations, leaves 2 months unaccounted for).

On the surface, their Promissory Note looks okay, but I have a few questions for you all and I welcome your input!

1. There is no mention of my renewals. Can they keep my renewals, since they were the ones who closed the office?

2. What about the last two months? There was no mention of this in the Promissory Note.

3. And, lastly, they want to reserve complete jurisdiction for any dispute of the account balance to be in Florida. (I am in California and, if I feel that they are incorrect in their calculations, I think that I should be able to object here in California. Am I incorrect in this train of thought?):1baffled:

I was given the name "Midwestern Marketing" 877-278-3775. I was told that they are straight with you and are given the highest real rates. That's where I'm going to start as an independent agent!
