Anyone Work for Ameri-life?

I work for Amerilife in the office, so I basically see everything, and I can say firsthand that alot of ex agents on here are just pissed about their own stupidity. First of all, same with any business, each office is different, so i really cant speak for every office, but i know our office has the best atmosphere i've ever seen at any job ever. when i met everyone at our corporate events, it was a generally great crowd. everyone had good spirits and got along great. i've never seen such support and teamwork that the offices show with any other company. i'm basically in control of the leads for our office, so some of you that say they are "crappy leads anyway" yada yada yada, heres the way it really works, at least in our office. we have telemarketers that set appointments for you, and yes, some may not be "good leads" but do you have any idea how difficult it is for the telemarketers to judge if a customer has alzheimers or money? they have a list in front of them, thats it. they dont know if the customer is poor, this is just unfortunately the way it is, with any business, you take the good with the bad. thats why we have other methods of obtaining leads, such as mailer cards, where customers respond they are interested, we have seminars, which filter through and have only the best leads invited, and you cant say "the managers" steal your money, because i know my general manager would never do that. usually he shares and splits more than he should, i know i wouldnt split some of the sales he has! everyone here is more than generous, and the comments about "they own your clients, and you cant take them with you when you leave" ... duh! amerilife paid for you to get those leads, and its also a hugh conflict marketing wise. cell phone companies have similar concepts that you cant work for one cellphone company and then work for another right away. its just business, its called being smart. you didnt find those leads, they were given to you, and paid for by amerilife. i also read a post about having to attend daily morning meetings, those are mandatory , thats right. there are several reasons, for one, how else are you going to get your leads for the day? i know i'm not going to email and text each and every one of our agents to give them leads for the next day, that would take all night! also, we constantly have things that agents need to follow up on or take care of that we need them to be here so we can give them the information. its called being more efficient. plans and rates are constantly changing with as many plans as we sale, thats another reason that we have training included in that meeting each morning, and it helps you also become a better salesman. just think about it people, people wouldnt be working with amerilife 10/15 or more years just because. there must be something good there! dont knock it til you try it!

Your grammer and spelling are awful...and I think you have drunk the AL KOOLAIDE....you must be very new and green..blog again in 6 months...how do you feel about agents doing annuities now on a 12 pay or do you pay attention to what the agents are getting on policies and the amount of changes to their bottom line recently. Do you care...your check must be from Corporate.

Nothing positive about the AL , stay away .:err: and you can Call me 800 712 8894...

Thank you for your insight...seems Erica is in dream world.....I have heard the rumblings of Class Action around...seems there is a bit of corporate mayhem with everchanging policies and commission schedules, unruly managers, lack of training or no training for new agents..body count means more....personally I think if Alex Sink wants to further her career in politics, she should tear apart Amerilife....could be another week of News about the ongoing part of what's wrong with the insurance industry and who is trying to get FAT!

Ok I admit it I drank the kool-aid with AL..

I am new so I got a royal wake up call.

Anyway, I have 2 question if the agency terms your contract will that have an adverse effect on my lic going into a new FMO or even independent contacting?

2. Do all my appointments with the insurance carriers term if so when could I get reappointed with them?

Thanks

If you are an Independent agent, Midwest Marketing is good and helpful and also LM Financial in Sacramento. Midwest offers good commissions and don't mess with you!

Okay, I just read a response to an earlier post. Why do you say that Midwestern is just Nebraska's Amerilife? I have the paperwork in front of me and haven't signed anything yet. HELP! I am getting more confused by the minute. How do I know if it's Amerilife that I am dealing with?

Yeah, most finally caught on that it's a total waste of time, and the lawyers are the only ones that will see any monetary benefit.

That is what STATE FARM thought.................research baby....

Does anyone think its bad if a company comprises its original intent in the whole abstract of it all in order to go Public....Wake Up you Idiots who still work for this company AMERILIFE and its up and subs..go ahead New Agent and write an annuity..oops..its a 12 pay..mmmmm your Blues when you signed them did not say that in this past year..CHANGE!..WAIT..there will be more...its not YOUR CONTRACT ANYMORE....drink the AL Koolaide, you will be better off then...YOU WILL FORGET!! I think Alex Sink should take a hard look while campaigning and make an example out of AMERILIES....dig deep as well as look at the surface that presents itself, Alex Sink, you need not do more than bring all this to light to get the attention. Make an example out of a company gone wrong and show Florida, WE CAN BE RIGHT for SENIORS and Agents serving them!!!!

It should be about the CONSUMER! Desperate Agents are Abound from Amerilife...the DAAAs....:1cute:

Caution to Newbie1...Midwet Mktg is an affiliate of Amerilife.
You must ask questions when these marketers call you to find out their upline. Better yet, real those contracts. They make you agree to arbitration if there are problems, loss of comm even for alleged acts(unproven) and 2 yr non compete and on and on. Underline problematic clauses. Does a rose by any other name smell as sweet?

I seen the losers come and go for many years from the inside and out look at the the postings mostly from the same losers AMLG is not perfect but its the best over all bunch of people i have met in this industry most of the loosers will take what thay offer and run when there business refunds.

Under new management a great place to work and grow.

Losers get a life
