Anyone Work for Ameri-life?

If you look at Amerilifes contracts they have you sign you have to look very carefully to see what your signing.

For example the Universal Health Care contracts are almost the
same except instead of saying Universal Health Care Tampa they say

Universal Health Care Senior Divison Clearwater Fla.

Unless you have the two side by side you would never notice the difference.

My rule is to never sign anything from anyone in Clearwater Fl.

They have been using the "Senior Division" trick for years mostly with Mutual of Omaha

Slime balls, just put another * ** next to all the other glorified Nase

Are you serious? Amerilife is nothing but a factory for those agents that have been there more than five years to take advantage of newbies for their leads, family and friends. They will leave you in the dust. Write your business and when you see the light and leave...they will roll it actively. Churning and Twisting means nothing to them. Amerilife Managers encourage this illegal behavoir...They have no active leads. They are going two by two to doors scaring the public. I personally think the only others who do this are Jehova Witnesses=desperate...and they are not in the avenue of having Client Needs in their focus...or Due Diligence..they are prodded and forced to do these tactics by desperate managers proving themselves to corporate in an avenue that is proving to be non-productive...keep it up Amerilife...can't wait until the Florida Department of Insurance gets your Ass big time and all those involved.....SHAME ON YOU!

Seriously, is anyone with half a brain considering working for this company...you have to be really challenged physically and mentally to even put up with the abuse, misleads and general bad information. Do not subscribe to Churning and Twisting with this company at your expense..THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU..you are a body to knock on doors with another..get the sale and split with a manager at a serious discount...they count on you to get your family, friends and acquaintences....Want to Keep them...leave Amerilife and disinbody yourself from them before they take you in your SLEEP!!!! Of course, have those relatives you cannot stand..give Amerilife their number...hounded forever and no time to see YOU....

:di Love It...there Are Really So Many Smart Agents Out There That Know And Do Not Need To Reply..they Are Up To Date On This Company.....only The Stupid Will Comment And They Do Not Want To Be Known As Active Amerilies Agents....

I can attest to the FACT that Amerilife is difficult to get a release from. Organizations like their's give our industry a bad name. They treat agents poorly and cheat them out of commissions.

Ditto! I have been trying to obtain a release from Amerilife since January 2012, I was able to get one from one carrier AARP but not from another carrier Universal. Amerilife tried to rescind the first release unsuccessfully since I had the release letter. The second release was blocked completely. At first I was told to wait a year and then they would release me, yesterday 7/25 I was told that they never release. The same day Amerilife tried to recruit my GA who responded with his concern about releasing me, Amerilife responded that they are not releasing agents "at this Time".
The reason I left Amerilife is that my commission were not at the % I was promised, since leaving Amerilife I have been receiving the proper commissions. My advise avoid amerilife they do not pay well and they will not pay on any residuals.

They do not grant releases so you are locked in for life! Theybalso do NOT pay overrides on personal business and they tell you that AFTER your contracted and your agents are contracted so they have control over your whe team. When you have ha enough and start rattling cages they will look for any reason to term you so you are screwed all the way around. But that's ok...lesson learned and I have learned to trust no one and ask LOTS of questions before contracting!

I did get one release from Amerilife, then they tried to rescind it , I had a problem for 9 months and was told that they would "never" give me a release for Universal Healthcare. They also shorted me on my commissions and I was told that residuals will not be paid.

I am wondering if they have a assignment of commissions clause along with a well written legal contract that most don't understand but states they can do what they please with your %.

The contract has an arbitration clause for any disputes, with no specific %, the wording is vague enough to assign any % they want. there is also a 24 month clause for residuals meaning that if you leave before 24 months you forfeit any residual commissions. I am working on a release and making some progress as each contact states it is up to the other. Squeaky wheel may get the grease.

This is what Amerilies does...sign the blues..they seem to own you...is that not indentured servitude...I got out and stayed out..my Good...the fact that I ever let this company get ahold of me and even a year plus later experienced their Creative Accounting (per my CPA) I put on me as BAD one....to those out there wanting to answer any of their ads..RUN RUN RUN...they take it off your back and charge you way too much for E and O, and the desk rental is a joke. Keep anything in your desk on leads etc. and I can guarantee your Branch Mgr will have the same names.......Amerilies suits them.

SLOW SLOW GREASE.....AND YOU STILL MAY BEND OVER:D

SLOW SLOW GREASE.....AND YOU STILL MAY BEND OVER:D

And for those that were not under this particular Amerilife agent contract....to try and make a living after leaving your agency is nearly impossible for 2 years unless you obtain the HOLY RELEASES needed. Why I indicated you may still have to bend over for Amerilies! Whoo! Had I known what type of company I was engaging in, I would not have signed up. Some comments about my blogging on here about this company..well I see it as a productive thing for agents and the public about a company who has practices that borderline on deceptive marketing and just downright pushey practices..showing up two by two...SERIOUSLY..due diligence is part of not being intimidating, doing the best job according to guidelines for your Client and abiding by CMS rules....so those that think I have it in for Amerilife, YES I do...they bring all of us down that abide by the above because they do not teach the guidelines...they are an embarresment to the industry and me, that used to be associated with them.

I am totally contrite when I speak of my association with this company...to save another agent from signing on....my Good...not to say anything is MY BAD...:GEEK:

Well off to vacation for a couple of weeks..barefooting a 46 ft boat out of St. Thomas with VIP....awesome..they stock it too..best to pick up your own livations though and they love to stock Cheese (and that is funny on a boat)!...never could do this with Amerilife...they took too much and charged outrageous prices for E and O and desk rental....Amerilife agents you are not getting your due in commissions...wow if you only knew......
