Anyone Work for Ameri-life?

Do not walk away from Ameri-Life and Health.

RUN.

Run while you still have an ounce of self respect.
Run while you still have your manhood.
Run before you are pounded into a doormat.
Run before they take most of your hard earned BLOOD MONEY.

In my opinion they are Pirates and Elder Abusers.

I am Back from my awesome charter boat trip.....see more things about Amerilife aka Amerilies....RUN RUN you newby agents...they will suck your soul.......and keep your papers so you cannot work anywhere for almost 3 years...RUN RUN RUN..you can go to a viable and fair Marketing Company...this company charges you 30.00 over for your E and O, then charges for a desk (seriously), then Bond of 25 percent on your commissions which they have devalued to almost nothing. When I was with them, a turning 65 got me 125.00...I now make 2 to 3 times that...do the math...I did floating on a a raft in Grenada while we were taking on water for the boat. Nice nice trip....all those agents still working for this Marketing Company..you will get screwed...get out NOW!!!!

After many years with this agency, I learned that they teach you how to lie, steal and cheat their agents and customers. I couldn't stand working around a bunch of crooks and had to leave.
They definitely use inferior companies to benefit their bottom line. very limited products for the consumer.

RUN RUN RUN

Just make sure you get your money first and DO NOT SIGN THE "BLUES"
It is a trap.

I agree DO NOT sign on with Amerilife- they now charge for what they call leads $150.00 per month charged to your bond account for recycled existing clients that are sick and tired of seeing agents at their door at least once a month if not more. They just keep new agents running mostly existing clients, every now and then they throw out some decent leads but most of those go to managers. I found out the hard way don't do it no matter what line they give you

Is this the same as Amerilife marketing? I'm contracted with them for a few products, have had no issues, however, I don't work for them

I've posted this a number of times but there is a different between a career contract (captive) and contracting as an indy with Amerilife.

I still strongly recommend a pre-nup because I've been burned a number times, specificially Applied General Agency and Bob Bever. But I was able to get a release from Amerilife and know other agents that have also.

Is that a guarantee of a release. No way. But I haven't experience the problem and believe me, nobody is a bigger a-hole when it comes to uplines than I am.

I recently had an interview with a local Amerilife office. They partnered with some local pharmacies and they're hiring new agents. The plan is that the agents will be at the pharmacies for a couple of days each week, and the pharmacies can direct customers to the agents. I don't currently plan on pursuing a career as an insurance agent, (I'll probably go back to school), so I don't think a release will be a big issue.

Does anyone have any previous experience with this strategy? Any information you can provide will be helpful.

So, pbiu, did you sit in the Walgrens and make any sales? Please let the board know your results.

The important question should be "Did you actually get paid."
And unless he had some sort of fantastic MA plan to sell for the local market, sitting at a kiosk in a drugstore just doesn't work these days. A Walmart/Humana kiosk was a good gig the FIRST year, basically because everyone had to sign up for something, Walmart had the foot traffic (not just the pharmacy customers), Humana had the best plans that first year, and the street level was $50 for a standard PDP application (plus whatever spin-off business you picked up on top of that). Also, not using Amerilife was key, as Amerilife doesn't actually pay its commissions.

All good points.

Lets hope this thread will save some poor families from falling for the lies that Amerilife feeds these new agents.

AmeriLife should be called Hotel California...

You can check out but you can never leave... read that on another website and had to share here!
