Anyone Work for Ameri-life?

About the "free" leads for 6 months? Well I only worked there for 4 months. They charged my "bond" $120 for a company they didn't even represent and $10 a lead, that by the way was bogus, and I wondered why I was the only one who wanted this rare deal ! They suck the blood out of you until you are broke. I was a brand new agent. I past my state exam and went there the next day. I learned the hard way. Thank God they are being sold and hopefully the new owners will treat agents like humans now and not machines anymore. Good luck on your decision.
Oh, By the way. That was 6 years ago and I'm doing fantastic now with the same agency I joined immediately after leaving Amer-lies. I go on vacation at least 3-4 times a year with my family. Something I would not be able to do with them. Just a thought ;)

Uh Oh, Angel back to protect us from the wicked ALife!!!! Keep up the good fight AB!!

Thank you for helping with keeping this information on page one for "new" agents considering investing any time in this company, it is the right thing to do.

Time is the more valuable than money.

They started charging $150 a month for agents leads back when i was there..... but only after the first 6 months unless you were special ...the GM was a total ass he took new agents out and said he would split the commission and never did and REQUIRED they be there at 8.30 EVERY morning including saturday yelled and scream at them if they didn't sell and fired them if they so much as gave him a dirty look........ i hated that job and was only an Admin !!!!!!!!!

I got an $11.00 renewal check last week- Amerilife agents are out rocking and rolling...

Reminds me of another song- Twisting and churning in the sand. If you can make it, stay hungry, stay alive, if you can. And meet me in the dream of this hard land."

I always felt especially bad for our lovely admins- at least the agents were able to leave- those GMs are something else!

There is one big problem with this company.

The leads are the most dangerous factor, since; they want you visit seniors un-invited.

Doggies1 - welcome to insurance. A lot of people visit seniors un invited. It's called door knocking. Not a bad thing at all. How can you say that? I'll knock on anyone's door. If I can help them then I will. If I can't then I walk away none the worse.

Running into lots of "new" Amerilife agents- guess they are still recruiting for a living. Must work.

Thank you Angel for keeping this post going. I JUST got a call from AmeriLife using a phone number 877 213-8182. Couldn't pick it up and they didn't leave any VM but I did research on the Web and it's tied to them. Then came here and did additional research. They look to be toxic and I will absolutely avoid them.

You more than did your good deed for the day. Thanks again!

I can't believe this thread is still going, let alone agents still getting recruited for Ameri-lies !! Anyone who goes to work for them now, after reading this, deserves what they get !
Happy selling guys and gals ......

Welcome to the forum and thank you for the kind words!

Good for you for taking the time do some reading/research on Amerilife. Your definition of "toxic" is spot on.
