Anyone work with Senior Life doing telesales?

Your crazy Greg. Direct express with correct ss billing has been incredible persistency for me.Thats with 6 yrs worth of data. You talk of things you know nothing about.
I agree. Not only is my persistency high on direct express business, my commissions are not whacked either! How can SL accept credit cards and get full premium, yet whack the agents commissions for accepting that form of payment? When someone has been getting brainwashed by the same company for 10yrs +, there is nothing you can tell them that will change their outlook.
One other thing I have noticed happening more frequently. Many of SL agents are reconsidering their options.

Ask any carrier exec that takes DE and they'll tell you the persistency long term isn't good. Cos cutting commissions on DE is a business decision and just that. It has nothing to do with brainwashing

Speak for yourself. Everyone on this forum has carriers. My commissions for DE is not cut. Apparently, your carrier cuts yours. The persistency long term on my DE is good. Apparently, yours is not.

Not to belittle you but your inexperience is showing like a bright light. DE persistency should be improving the last year or so because "true soc. sec. billing" is being put into practice by the carriers, slowly but gradually.

However 2+ years ago, 5+ years ago, etc. most all carriers would not continue taking DE business because the persistency was pretty bad. Why do you think the few carriers that have started back taking DE only pay it out as earned? 98% of the people that only have DE are in that situation because banks will not accept these folks as customers.

Why? Because they've overdrawn checking accounts at other banks, the banks would pay that NSF check and charge an NSF fee. Then that person never paid the bank back and closed their account sticking the bank with a bad debt. And then that dead beat would rinse and repeat at another bank. Now banks can do some kind of check on a new customer and do some kind of risk assessment.

The US Government set up direct express for the people who banks refused to accept as a customer. With DE the government could direct deposit their soc. sec. checks onto DE just like they would on a regular bank account, thus saving a lot of $$$ on postage, printing, and eliminating people saying they never received their check in the mail box or perhaps saying their check was stolen from their mail box.

So how was your DE persistency 5 years ago? 10 years ago? Were you even in the FE arena at those times?

6 years of data? LOL. Your credibility shrinks still further with such an erroneous comment.

Hey Greg,
First of all, kiss my ###. I was not talking to you. Secondly, I don't have to prove anything to you.

Wow! Winners don't talk like that. But losers sure do. You say you don't have to prove anything to me. That's true. But you're lying about DE persistency and newer agents are being misled by your untruthfulness.

I sure hope tomorrow is better for you than today. And I hope next week is better for you than last week. Maybe that'll stop you from sounding so hostile on a forum that's suppose to be helpful for the rest of the agents up here.

LOL! Nice try attempting to steer SL agents away from me. Obviously, you do not read very well and have difficulty comprehending. I was speaking to the guy concerning my own personal results and even prefaced it with the statement, "Speak for yourself." My personal persistency has nothing to do with yours or any other agent's. If you weren't so drunk off Senior Life's kool aid, perhaps you too would know what carrier(s) pay FULL commission on DE. I never said they ADVANCED commission on it. Every agent that has come to me from SL now share a carrier that pays them full commission on their DE business! Their persistency will be what it is.
Anyone who tells me that I am "lying" concerning my personal results and what a carrier pays me, I will tell them what I told you, "KMA."
It's not my fault SL has the reputation of pulling the wool over the eyes of their agents and creating an environment of deceit. Everything I have ever posted here concerning SL was supported with documents attached, provided by agents.
Next time, make sure you understand what you are reading, before contributing to a conversation. Otherwise, you appear ignorant.
