Best all around FE company to write with?

Speaking or Settlers, I use them for service on old policies only, but they seem to be the weakest at customer service, that I've experienced. I'm sure there are some that are worse, but I hope not bump into them.
That is a shame. At one time they were top notch at customer service.

Getting back into FE sales and just wanted to know your opinions on what your go to company is? Who has the best rates at the moment?
I have a full time job and don't have too much time to muddy the waters and don't want to contract with a bunch of different companies like I did in the past. If you could choose one FE company, which one would it be? Also, I'm not looking for an IMO, I have used FEX in the past and plan on contracting with Scott again.

Thanks!
If you want to narrow down ti in or even two companies, you have to ask yourself just how much business you are willing to pass up in the name of simplicity. Captive agents do it all the time. They only write one company and no company is going to compete in or even have a product for every niche. So what do their top producers do? They spend their prospecting for folks that fit their company and ignore those that Don't. The ones that have the discipline to stay focused on their chosen target market can make a very goid living. Often better than an agent that has a product for every situation.

I appreciate the response and you're definitely right. Thanks for the honest feedback!

Somebody told me with American Memorial you ask the client all the questions and you call in and the interview is only 5 mins . They ask the client did he answer all the questions no? Is that correct?
Yes, Same with Foresters now

Thanks! You've been great! We'll be here til Thursday!:1biggrin:

LBL has been my go to for several years. But I've hated the interview process since they switched to phone app. However, the new tools and e-App they rolled out today look pretty good! Should solve the lengthy interview problem.

I also use Central Security Life, a regional carrier out of Dallas. They're a relatively small company, and their processes are kind of antiquated. But they were extremely helpful to me when I was just getting my independent agency up and running, so I've developed some loyalty to them. Plus there are a couple of niches where they're extremely competitive.

So is American Memorial your go to on Copd were they've taken the inhalers 2 or more yrs as supposedly its preferred which if true the rate can't be beat ? Is it really true there issuing preferred? Do they do SS billing? I know Foresters takes copd at about the same rate as Trans . Haven't used them in yrs .

True. But Equitable is giving them a run for their money.

Write one this week and let us know how it went please.
I just posted this on the LBL Precheck thread:
I just did my first telesale with the LBL e-app. What a difference! Much easier to keep the client engaged, and the whole process was finished in half the time. The only complaint I have is still having to read the disclosures, when we could easily email them if they would incorporate that into the e-app somehow. The best thing is just having the agent handle everything except voice sigs. With the former phone app, there seemed to be a lot of duplication between agent and POSTI, making it take way too long. Also, doing health questions first enables you to have them approved before you get into all the other stuff. So, if they're not going to qualify, you know about 20 minutes sooner, which makes pivoting a lot easier.
