Best Cell Phone for Agents and Why?

How about a cell phone that has quoting softward built into it and you can even fill out an app on it.
The client just signs his name on the phone.

Now that would be nice.

What are all you guys selling that you need to edit docs on a phone? What is so urgent you cant wait to do it on a full size keyboard. Your eyes must be better than mine (I'm kinda old) and your fingers must be tiny.

If I'm missing biz opportunities because I don't do docs on my phone, please let me know. I have the technology, just don't see the need. I suppose most of you guys text message and Tweet too ? ;)

Patch, I.m in the same boat as you. I have enough trouble punching in numbers on those damn tiny keys on my cell phone!:goofy:

I did contact her. She told me if I would send her $1000 dollars that she would teach me how to get 10 suckers to send me $1000 each. LOL

She said there are tons of suckers out there. I'm rushing her my $1,000 today. I can't wait to learn how to do it.

:D:D

At first I thought it was a hoax... but it's real TTBOMK.

Sprint simply everything plan along with a blackberry curve. $99 a month. You get unlimited minutes, text, internet, email, gps. Also at no additional cost, you can hook up your blackberry to your computer and use it as a modem. Phenomenal deal and about $600 cheaper than any other carriers comparable plan.

Not so....

T-mobile has a $99 unlimited plan that includes minutes and text. add $24 for unlimited internet, gps, emails when using the 8900 curve..

I do not suggest you use your cell phone as a modem for yourlap top at all, slow as dial up. Even with a 3g phone it will kill your cell battery

Get a air card or usb stick (T-mobile) if you want internet on your laptop much faster and no hassels

G1 is not getting enough love in this thread. It really gives the I-phone a run for the money.

In addition to the large screen, it has a very nice keyboard underneath.

1 gig memory is standard, upgrade is to 3 gig.

Like Chuck, I use the google calendar. Google apps also work on the G1. For my e-mail accounts, I use IMAP, so I can get them on my phone.

Not only can you synch it with your PC, you can charge it by plugging the usb cord into your computer.

As for battery life, the first few charges run dry quickly, but it seems to improve after a week or two of charging.

If I ever move to Mac, then I'll go with the I-phone.

Downside potential: Using T-mobile. Which carrier has the best coverage in your area is a huge consideration.

There is a G2 coming out soon which will really give the Iphone it’s run for it’s money since it will a virtual keyboard and be thinner more like the Iphone

You can upgrade the memory card to 8GB .

Default email is Gmail but will do yahoo, aol and pop3 emails as will.
For $20 you download a program from the android market that will sync up with Outlook.

Battery life on my G1 is not the best but then again I didn’t just buy a phone I bought a mini computer.

I downloaded a PDF view from the android market and was able to view an ING sales brochure which I though was really cool.

I have been with T-mobile since 1999 when they were voicestream, and yes there have been bumps in the road, but I feel they have been really good over the past few years.

I am a little bias since I work for them PT
