Best Company for Liberal Underwriting?

Speaking of Monu, did anyone else here receive an email from them today (or recently) saying "A Monumental <pun intended I guess> Announcement is Coming Soon"?

It maybe the new TransAmerica product was finally approved in Cali if no other agents in other states got this! I was hoping that NEVER got approved!

I received the email today in NCarolina.

Monu, like many carriers, is *almost* there as being a go-to carrier, but its biggest shortcomings are:

-Application length -- cut it in half.

-Surprise PHI -- Should be required POS or not done at all; lots of extra time wasted chasing people down for interviews.

I have personally seen improvements in the amendment obsession, as well as the post-sale PHIs.

I don't think the app length is that bad, although I do wish they had a bigger space for addresses.

As did I, in Florida

Their app may not be that bad but it's the worst one of the companies I carry. far too many signatures needed. And now they have 2 of them, 0-44 and 45-85. They work at making everything difficult. They are succeeding.

While not FE. I did a Lincoln Financial app today, with the illustration, I think there were 11 signatures and something like 28-30 pages.:1arghh:

I remember writing an annuity once when I was with Bankers Life, the application was a half inch thick, and had somewhere in the ballpark of 20 signatures :goofy:

I did find out that they don't need all the scripts, dr info on that supplemental page. UW said if you have the info, go ahead and put it down, if not that's ok.
