Best FE Company

I'm not contracted with Foresters but why does everyone consider them bottom of the barrel? When I first got on the forum they seemed to be one of the carriers everybody was using.

Yeah, everyone seemed hot on them when PlanRight first came out. I warned people then but it didn't seem to sink in.

They were always difficult to work with but they had a small niche of low rates for many cases. The rate increase they took last summer in addition to the tightened underwriting took away that niche.

It would be like RNA taking a rate increase and tightening underwriting. They could go from the penthouse to the outhouse very quickly.

Forresters customer service was so bad I shelved them even when they had great rates. Then I got a death claim with them and I couldn't even dream up a worse experience with any company. Finally paid the claim but politeness and promptness are NOT in their vocabulary.

Hello. I have enjoyed reading your posts. Do you track your success or closing ratio on press one leads? I am considering shifting to FE. Thanks
After reading this thread I am quite confused. It seems EFES has no set game plan in affect and the managers all fly by the seat of thier pants. I am not saying that is a bad thing.

It seems to me most agents that have limited sales experience would be better off working under a very regimented system with required weekly cales calls, turing in time sheets etc.

Me personally, I like the fact that I work when I want or need to. My days of rah rah meetings are long gone. I do work under PHR because they have a good lead source.

The closing ratio on press 1 leads should be 0% since press 1 leads are illeagal.

Hearsay! Simply Hearsay!

Unless you were in the room when they made them illegal you have no way of knowing.

That's why I never stop at red lights. Ignorance is 9/10ths of the law.

Todd, seriously, give it a rest. We do it right have and have done so for the last 2.5 years. That's why we can still offer them. That's why we have not been sued. This whole "Press 1's are illegal" argument is getting old. How many more times do we need to rehash it?

Well John, I don't ever recall directly contradicting you. However, true press 1 leads are illegal and you should know that without a doubt. I guess you must be doing something other than press 1 leads and just calling it that.

The true press 1 leads I'm speaking of start out with the callee hearing a recording asking if they would like more info to "press 1".

If you're not doing it that way, then good on you. If you are, then you'll eventually find out the truth, but you won't like it!

NFL72 was talking about PHR and our Leads, Press 1 leads. That was his comment you were referring to right?

Fully automated "Press 1" leads are illegal. Ours are not. It costs us no small amount to make sure they are legal. The closing ratio requested and the leads mentioned above were 100% legal. And they are still Press 1 Leads.

And NFL72's closing ratios are way better than zero.

John
