Best FE Company

Hi everybody,

I know that I am brand new here, but let me give you my thoughts what FE companies to contract with...

One of the factors that I base my decision as to who I want to contract with, is the questions on the application. Every app, except for some GI applications, will ask questions concerning the same diseases, such as cancer, diabetes, heart attack, stroke, and hypertension. But, they don't always ask them the same way......
Take diabetes for an example:

Did the applicant contract diabetes before age 40?
Is their diabetes under control with either medication or diet?
Do they take insulin to control their diabetes?
Did they contract diabetes within the last 24 months?

Your client may have to answer yes to some of these questions, but probably not all of them.....

If you pay attention to how your different companies ask questions concerning different diseases, sometimes you can find a situation where your client can answer "NO" to certain health questions and avoid being forced to take either a modified or graded policy.

When I first got into selling FE insurance, I walked away from a lot of sales because I didn't pay attention to how different companies asked their health questions. Now whenever I go into a client's house, I have at least three different options for every major disease you have to deal with....

Just an opinion...

^^Of course the FE agent should have several companies in order to cover almost situation you run across with 1st day coverage.

There are few where you just can't do that but it is very few if you have enough companies.

Hearsay! Simply Hearsay!

Unless you were in the room when they made them illegal you have no way of knowing.

That's why I never stop at red lights. Ignorance is 9/10ths of the law.
they are illegal why is that so hard to understand

NFL72 was talking about PHR and our Leads, Press 1 leads. That was his comment you were referring to right?

Fully automated "Press 1" leads are illegal. Ours are not. It costs us no small amount to make sure they are legal. The closing ratio requested and the leads mentioned above were 100% legal. And they are still Press 1 Leads.

And NFL72's closing ratios are way better than zero.

Regards,
John
how are yours legal? what do you do to make them technically legal.

A few companies out there initiate the call with a live telemarketer/agent who ask if they would be interested in hearing a message about low cost burial insurance.
Then, if interested, the call is transferred to a recorded message. After the message, the recipient of the call can either press 1 for more info (trf to live agent) or 2 to be placed on a do not call list.
I'm not sure if PHR does it this way but I know a few places who do it this way.
It's LEGAL doing it this way.

You sir are just not able to distinguish yourself from the biases and ignoramisis of nonsensicial forum shenaginaguns complemented on the dignified American Insurance agent and streaming right through the public and ending up in our sacred water supply.

I suggest that you tweek the prescription up a notch or sit closer to the chalkboard lest some of this edumocation might go right past you and spill down into your Doc Martins and cause you to make squishy noises when you walk.
