I've been trying to get someone from PPG to call me for the past 2 weeks! I know it's the Holidays but they can't take 15 minutes to call someone and give them more info on their opportunity? I guess not!

MrEd, I see you've been asking about telesales since mid 2018. Have you started with anyone yet?

Also, what number are you calling for PPG?

I have been looking off and on...just got my Life/Health license back in May 2018. I've been doing Final Expense! Guess I am stubborn and had to find out for myself about No Shows, Cancellations, "I thought this was a Government Program", Driving all over the place in the heat (Arizona). Thanks but someone finally called me this morning and NO I have not started with any Telesales Company yet. My thing is I have a home in Payson AZ and I want to be able to go up where it's cool in the Summer and still be able to work!

It is the holidays as you said so smaller companies with smaller staffs are going to be dealing with vacation times and so on. I have no idea who PPG is so that is just a guess.

However, as an independent agent my thinking is. If an upline is slow on communication when they are selling me, they will probably be slow once they have me. Sure, if an agent is in the agency's top 10% of producers they rightfully get that level of service from them. But how they treat the majority matters as well. Again, I am speaking as an agent, not a recruiter so my perspective is as an agent. (Damn, if that does not sound like JD). The uplines have their own families and business and a lot of agents to be concerned about. I only have mine. And mine is the most important. To me.

Take heed: Telesales is "more difficult" than face to face sales.

@MrEd Did you ever start selling with PPG? I would appreciate an update.

@indiana260 Are the pay per sale live transfer leads available brand new agents? Also, is it possible to sell term over phone or just FE? One more question :) Is the PPG training suitable for new agents or is the expectation that agents will already have some time in the field?

Not yet. Spoke to James Campbell this morning. He said will send me contracting email for carriers.

tele sales is a tough racket to sustain for an entire year with the lower persistency and placement than average field agents...

i suggest internet shared leads for volume and sprinkle in live transfers
