Thanks for the shout out. CJD and I have spoken numerous times, I just think he is looking for other opinions. As for the four decades of success, I am barely 4 decades old, but I appreciate the idea I have the wisdom of an old man.

As for carriers, I like SNL Americo, Trans and United Heritage. No phone interviews with any and they all have some good niches. No such thing as I go to company anymore. Btw, I love RNA but won't do the electronic app.

I agree with you about SNL and Trans, although Trans has many glitches. They pay great commissions, accept COPD as standard, and pay commissions upon policy approval.

What I don't understand is why so many agents love RNA. Their rates are less competitive, making them more attractive for other agents to replace later. When I place business, I try to make it really difficult for other agents to replace my business. I would sure like to know why RNA is loved by so many agents...agents that I respect.

Good underwriting, a true know before you go phone interview. They do not deviate from the application. Great first year and renewal commissions. Great fraternal benefits. They don't work well for under 60 or smokers however.

Yes, the PHI with RNA is fairly brief compared to many others. Do you RNA guys have issues with getting it replaced by other agents?

I don't recall a time. Certain ages do not make sense however. JD is the guy to defer to on this.

That's the million dollar question! I know that the IMO that my wife and I are with 360 Financial Group is the ONLY IMO that has a deal with SNL so you can use your lead credit to purchase the DM leads that we use that say "life Insurance" on them.

So we can use our lead credits from SNL for our leads from 360? Is it only half the cost or would they apply say my weekly lead bill of 780? Our do they do half of that and I the rest? Either way is good to know.

Here is why, in their pre phone app days I could take many ,modified policies and place them with level preferred first day coverage with RNA, they take a butt load of scripts and have fairly liberal uw. Even if it was $15 more per month the client didn't care, they were getting first day coverage. Hope that helps.
