Best Way to Handle an Improper Replacment?

The bad things I had heard about Monumental were all in this forum. Don't quote me but it seems many agents had problems with very flakey underwriting etc. If your that interested, you might try the search button. Personaly I don't really care.

And if my short memory serves me well Americo has been getting bashed quite regularly over the past couple of weeks.

I know some agents don't care about emails confirming the policy was received, missed payments, lapsed policies etc, but I do. It is much quicker and more efficient for them to send an email right when they are made aware of an issue.

I rarely even go to their websites unless I absolutely have to. Is that smart no. Do I care, as long as I am making enough coin to pay my bills, no.

Maybe that's and equita thing cause I gotta check the agentnetinfo site cause they never email me anything. I haven't had a lapse yet...but maybe I have...I haven't checked te site in a while :(

It's not an Equita thing. I never get communications from Monumental. I have to check the website and then email them with questions.

Even a missed draft they send me a letter about it a few weeks later.

Americo I get constant updates and emails. If one of my clients calls in to Americo they send me an email that thney got a call.

Of course I check agent cafe everyday anyway.

My last policy with Americo sat there for a stupid stip for 3 weeks. They never sent me anything telling me there was an issue and I never checked.

SNL, Foresters and the others I use all send emails alerting me of an issue. SNL everyday sends updates on pending policies.
For part timers like me that works best. They also keep new policies in pending until the first draft date.

If they only had a PHI id use them much more often.

You should never assume anything with any company. You should always be checking on your business because you never know what might be needed and if the company even got the app. It's much faster for you to check on your own business instead of waiting for a company to send something to you. Be proactive.

Wow, Monumental always emails me.. And Americo never! Sometimes Americo sends emails to EFES about a pending policy & they forward it to me, but that's it.

How are we having the complete opposite experiences with the same companies?

Monumental definitely emails me. I wonder why there are different ways with various agents.

They email me as well. I got one today where I missed the APL box. I have had no issues with Monuemental since day one. Probably the most efficient company I work with right now on the FE side. RNA is usually fair, but has screwed up a couple applications. Americo screwed up my first application and have been very reluctant to give them a bunch of business. My IMO has sweeten the pot though with Americo. He said if I write 10 apps I get a free ipad and a possible bump depending on premium written.

You should be checking your pending status everyday on all submitted cases-

I'm surprised an MIB pull didnt reveal this amputation

Of course I know if they got the app if they email me telling me they recieved it! If after a day or two if I don't get the email, then I call.

Once they acknowledge they received the email, they should be able to email be again telling me whether it was approved or if it has stips.

Emails are much faster and more convienient than having to log into 5 different companies or more on a daily basis.
