ok guys im just starting out in th FE game .i need some words of Insparation.what was your best week so far as in terms of commish,sales ratio ,overall feel good weeks

My best week was $8800 in ap. Most of it was in one day!
I lucked out and knocked on a door where the client was having a family reunion. She let me in set a chair in the middle of the living room and yelled " the insurance man is here!"
I spent the next 4 1/2 hours writing 11 apps for 6400 ap. the rest of the week I collected another 2400. Total commissions for the week was about 5k.
The best part ( and your going to love this). This happened my first month!
10 years later and I'm still waiting for a week like that. I just need a little luck!

My best week ever in life insurance was $19,000. That was MP.
I've had a handfull of $10,000 weeks in FE. I think the highest was $11,000.
But it feels better to me to average $3000/wk and have a $12,000 month. I'm more about consistancy than riding the highs and lows roller coaster style. I've been a fulltime agent for 4 and half years now. I've averaged over $4000/wk for that time. Since I've only had a few $10,000 weeks that says that those are aberations.
I didn't do anything different in those big production weeks. Those just happen from time to time if you are out there every week.
Those are the easiest weeks. When you have a week like that it's because everything just fell together just right.
A really tough week for me is getting out there and hitting it hard and managing to scrape up $2000 ap. That's a much tougher week than writing $8000-10,000.

Been doing this full time since the end of last year and am writing an average of $3000-$4000 in AP every week... Had a couple of $5000-$6000 weeks but thats about it...
Yesterday I went to my first 3 appointments between 9 and 10... Yes I set my first up before 9, then 9-930, then 10-1030..
By 10:30 I had blown through my first 3, knocked on a few doors, had sold NOTHING and was thinking I was about to run through all my leads by lunchtime...
then
I wrote a single, wrote another single, then a couple, then another single... Ran through my leads by 4:30 and was home with $2400 in AP by 6pm...
Just when you think you're done, you end up having a great day...

I wrote 15k in annualized FE premium the last week of June. Also wrote 2 med supps that week, did all that in 4 days mo through thur. Ran into several large term and UL premiums that were blowing up and their health and needs werent good enough for fully UW. Utilized 3 different lead generating techniques and have my own assistant, still had to spend better part of the next wk doing admistrative stuff although not complaing . Prior to that my best week was 12k which was earlier this yr..
Since this is an FE thread, I will keep it to FE production only. 11k with 14 apps. 2 days in the field.
This is very possible to do and for some of the agents in this thread and not yet on this thread, an occasional occurrence.

That is one of the great things about this business. We can make more in a week or a month than many people make in a year working much harder.
I have had a couple crazy weeks but as JD said it is about constancy. I have had some negative weeks as well.
It is the Greatest Business in the world. Where can you go to make good money and have the flexibility to be close to home, watch your children grow-up and participate in the usual activities with your family.

It has allowed for my wife to be home as my kids grow up. We can take time off when they are off. Kid gets sick or needs a ride somewhere no big deal.
We can choose to do our business as we decide. F2F, over the phone, Internet or a combination of all those. We decide what is best for us.
