To further complicate matters, it appears that UHC's One Pass gym benefit will still offer memberships to Club Pilates and the like. I gather One Pass comes with some insurance plans offered by employers, and members have to pay extra for the One Pass membership (compared to the Medicare version (Renew Active), which people don't have to pay extra for (aside from getting a UHC supplement that includes wellness extras)).

And throughout, UHC has done a terrible job of giving out information about the changes to Renew Active. Advantage members got a letter saying premium gyms would no longer be available to them. I (supplement holder) got a letter naming some gyms I'd gone to that would no longer be available in 2025 (Club Pilates and Orange Theory), and my letter didn't have the word "premium" anywhere in it. Only by comparing the letters Advantage members were getting and what I got, and carefully parsing the language, was I able to determine what was actually going on with respect to premium memberships.
