It is who you know. But you contacted me anonymously.
I gave you my name Scott, so it wasn't anonymously.

Why not?
I have other companies that I can write under 40 year olds with. No they are not GI but neither is Columbian.
Besides, how could I sell a product to a trusting customer from a company that I have no faith in?
I misunderstood I thought you did try to put a policy with them.
While I do not write a lot with columbian, I have written them for probably 15 years or so. Have never had an issue with any claims with them. Your experience must be different than mine.
Help us all out here. Recent cases I have put with them. 28 year old ciclecell (sp), 32 cirrhosis, 30 yr old cervical cancer. Where would you have put them. I appreciate the information.

Who will write sickle-cell? On any age?
Columbian, but do not tell anyone.
There must be others.
Thanks, some say they will, until you give them an app.
I just looked at the Colombian rate card for their "GI" plan: it states right at the top:
There are no health questions for this plan.
This plan is not intended for individuals who are
confined at home, to a hospital, hospice, clinic,
assisted living, nursing home, or convalescent home,
have a terminal illness, or abuse intravenous drugs.
If you have knowledge of the above, do not
continue writing the application.
Seems to me, they could not be more up front about their intent for the plan so I don't know a person could not trust them because of this..
Why would you put guaranteed issue at the top of the app. To me the wording at the bottom is just as bad as the fine print on the "AARP" NY life policies that no one reads that tells them they will be charged more and the policy will end when they turn 80
