Congestive Heart Failure... level or graded?

I feel like I had this conversation with you before. If it wasn't you, I apologize. I'd want it in writing from the company.

That was with me regarding assurity and them taking copd people who still smoke :)

I just called prosperity and I was told there is no way someone with CHF could ever legitimately say no to that question.

Obviously, someone is wrong. I don't know who. Based on how the app reads and knowing how incredibly high risk CHF is, I very much doubt any carrier would price a product like this and offer day one coverage to CHF people.

Which is exactly why I want stuff like this in writing. You get a different answer every time you call.

Just a question, so don't get mad with me....but are you sure you're not thinking about COPD with Prosperity?

I'm looking at the underwriting guide on Fexquotes, seems pretty clear that if the person is being treated or has been treated within the past 2 years for CHF then it is modified.

I know. That's why I'm trying to think outside the box and figure out what is going on here.

Copd is in the EVER section CHF has a look back. Look, I know it doesn't make a ton of logical sense. But what the carrier rep says, teaches and what they have been approving indicates they take it. So I don't know what there is to argue about.

Gotta disagree being that the voice of the company said what I just said. Oh, and the 4/5 clients they've approved level sa otherwise as well.

I had a case like this two weeks ago and given what I heard/read about Prosperity I thought I'd give it a try. Just to be sure, I put a call in to underwriting before taking the app, and I was told level would be a no go.

At this point, I don't know what to think.

EDIT: Her exact words were "Only if she can answer the question "No.". At that point, I didn't feel comfortable signing that app with a "No" to that question, so I moved on.

Who did you call because they don't take underwriting calls. You can email questions but there's no live home office UW that takes calls.
