Corente Insurance Lead Program

Re: Corente Insurance Lead Program-Stay Away

Hey Tex ins did you hear they were cherry picking at Corente or the one your friend wrote for?

Re: Corente Insurance Lead Program-Stay Away

no cherry picking done at Corente. Leads are fresh and in agents hands quickly. The lead program is for seasoned and experienced agents who are driven to make sales.

wow .....a year between post's...like we are going to believe you....

Having several different ways to generate leads and not have to BUY them is so much more profitable. In my opinion, unless you've got a company that you've been buying leads from that consistently provides quality stuff - it's a waste of money. They're selling those leads to several different agents and you're one out of 20 that's quoting the business.

Buying leads is like buying drugs - it's not a pretty situation to be in. You get addicted to the idea that 'it's that easy'. Like mentioned, you're at the mercy of someone else. The majority of lead sellers are scam artists.

Re: Corente Insurance Lead Program-Stay Away

I find it very funny that the agents who don't produce want to blame everyone else for their own self lacking qualities. The CIA lead program is designed for agents who actually do produce and want to make money selling from a mortgage lead system. This program is not for the weak sellers. It is a proven program where agents are given their own leads and required ot produce from them. I notice the agents who badmouth others need to jusitfy their own lack of sales ability. The leads aren't bad...the agent is!

Someday you will find a good home where you trust your lead supplier and with the right compay you can work together to better your sales and future relationships. A lot of agents tend to buy leads but do not know how to properly sell them insurance. I have been with CIA for over 6 years now and am happy.

Interesting bump after so long.

Let's see...a total of four posts - some six months apart.. What makes me think you're pimping for Corente? Do you really underestimate our intelligence that much?

WOW!
I gotta say, what does it matter if someone only posts every few months or even every few years? Now, I'm not taking sides with Kypi, but I really don't see the point of harking on him/her over the timing of posts. An opinion is an opinion. It's that simple.

Now I have written with many carriers using many different lead programs over the years. Bottom line it's pretty much hit and miss with insurance leads with any provider, regardless of any cherry picking. I've written over $50,000 in a month with old leads that were already gone through by other agents, and I've been held to $10,000 in a month with fresh leads. I do the same thing month in and month out. I'm sure some folks are gonna respond to this post with, "It's not the leads, man it's you!" Or something like that, of course that happens, but as anyone that's been around the block a few times knows, an agent knows when they're on their "A" Game.

Sometimes it really is just a bad set of leads, sorry Kypi, but that's the way it is. Nothing to do with the program, I've looked, and it seems decent enough, but every provider that I ever used has bad batches and good batches of leads. Period. Thanks for listening and good luck to you all.

Mike Corente was the first FMO I ever worked with and he personally trained me. That was before his agency got so big. But he teaches first one in is usually who gets the business. Back then we were selling F&G with rop. The last time I talked to mike he said they were selling least expensive term so no one could come in behind his agents and take the business. If you have ever bought leads you know a lead is just a way to get in the door, its up to you to sell it. They cannot control the type of people who respond to the lead thats just part of buying leads.
As far as mortgage Ins I don't know why everyone seems to think it is all non-med rop and that agents do not do needs based selling or have any knowledge about other products. Non-med has it's place like every thing else, but if you base all your business around this you will have left a lot on the table. If all we had to do was buy a lead and they were all good we would all be millionaires. Thats why developing your own leads is the only way out of this game, Just like rehab.:D Please don't comment on grammer, punc, or spelling
