Cuna

You don't scare me! and just for the record, Mounumental wont buy her level now because of her insullen issue along with the COPD.

And I beleive Americo wont buy her level either because of the MIB showing a COPD hit within the past 12 months.

I think the best thing to do is get Foresters to buy her Graded then in 12 months try and get her apporoved Level with someone else.

Kind of a quirky deal. Thanks to everyone for the input. I am learning. Now watch me write her graded and some yahoo comes in behind me and gets her bought Level and I get a chargeback!

Actually, referring to the original post about CUNA, for a 67-f-smoker, you can go with Lafayette Life for $54.15/month. Four bucks cheaper. I assume you met already, but if she didn't buy, there you go.

If you want more info on who I use to contract with them, email me at: [email protected]

Lafayette may not have the highest commissions, but they consistently have the lowest final expense rates.

Wow, great point. I do not see Lafayette out where I am at, and was not familiar with their rates. Thanks for the tip.

Just an update on the 62fnt with the mib hit for copd.

If you recall when I called it in to Foresters they turned her down cold because of her answer ont he application for COPD. After the MIB came in, I called Foresters back and discussed it with them. They told me that it still was ok as a Graded policy although on the phone it was a flat turn down. They suggested I could dispute the origional finding, which I did.

When I got the MIB I typed a note stating the client was first diagnosed with copd ten years ago, and the albuterol that was prescribed last year was for a minor bout of Bronchitis. I had no proof or anything from the doctor, nust a note. They emailed me back after 2 days that it was approved as Level.

I did send it to Americo and they called it modified, just for the record.

Thanks to all for their input on this policy. It was for $35,000 and well worth the work. Butin the end Foresters did come through for me this time.
