Cyber Coverage for a Complete Meltdown

I wonder if Cyber Insurance would cover a company from one line of code destroying a company such as this article from CNBC.

Lot of things in play on this one. You got the moron. His cyber liability policy limits are probably already reserved, and should pay. Bet its not enough coverage. His data loss and restoration costs are huge, policy limits too, if he has it. Plus loss of revenue....I wouldn't want to be his agent right now.

Then you have the victims, and all of their customers. Loss of data, loss of revenue, huge restoration costs. They all need a good data breach policy, else they are screwed. Regular BOP policy is not going to help anyone here.
