Admittedly, I don't do a ton of FE but maybe once every few months if I trip over it.

Well, I did one recently for an 82-year-old male. He has zero health issues and just cholesterol medicine. Also a non-smoker. They wanted to stay with Forester's because that's what their other policy is with.

He was just declined and the letter said, "declined for Administrative reasons".

What does that mean? I tried calling them, but they are closed for the weekend.

Maybe it is over the maximum amount of total coverage he can have at his age with foresters

never mind. we can delete the thread if needed. The bottom of the letter said that no payment was received. Which is a mystery since I included a voided check and the authorization page.

You would think that they would want the policy to be issued and contact either me or my client. guess not

No payment was received usually means we don't owe you a refund, it's not the reason he was declined,

I suspect Jack B is right, decline for admin is not because payment wasn't made. That would show up differently. Something weird going on here.
