Delivery Notice

So Went door knocking today (with leads) and for those that weren't home I left the delivery notice from legacy safeguard. Got 4 callbacks on them. Was able to set one appointment and the others I need to call back because I did not speak with the decision maker. Either way seems like a win to me.

I've been using the notices for about 2 years, and get about a 75% call back overall. I just use my first name on them, and usually check off 2nd attempt.

That's great news. I just ordered mine so I look forward to using them.

When I used them I got a call from them almost 100% of the time. They were not calls I was glad to get.

I haven't used them in over a year and won't again. Some people swaer by them, some swear at them. I'm in the second group. I think they are deceptive and I don't wnat to start a relationship with a clint that way.

If I were to use them again I would write, "life insurance information" on the notice. Same as I do when I call to set appointments. I say right up front I'm calling about their request for information on final expense life insurance.

If an agent is having success using them then by all means continue.

I Agree with you I found them to be dishonest and I even got a call from the local police dept. they told me their is a law stating that you must have a company name on these types of slips if you notice fed ex, ups, and USPS all have the name at the top. He gave me a warning and said next time I will be fined. If I leave them I must put a company name at the top.

I like to cut down trees...

I make copy of lead sheet, write a note on it that I stopped by to get them the info they requested.
Use double sided tape and stick on door...

I dont leave a #

I dont want them calling me and telling me NO before I get a chance to sit down with them.

I keep following up until they say NO.

The hardest part of this job is walking through the prospects front door.

I used them a while ago and had mixed results and decided to use them. I did get those calls that thought it was the USPS or Fed Ex.

I don't plan on leaving just the delivery notice in that regard. I ordered the sheet with legacy that explains how important life insurance is. It is designed to be slipped in the door with the notice. This way they know I was there to talk to them about an important event. These are leads not cold DK's. My script I use with my lead tells them point blank what kind of insurance it is. I might plan on putting in the lead piece, "The life insurance information you requested".

I have been having a hard time setting apts, or enough volume to where I need to be a bit more creative with DK's. So I decided to give this a shot again.

I see the problem you guys are referring to as I did get one call with an individual thinking I was trying to leave a package. I think I will see what kind of results I get from writing in Life Insurance for the requested info.

I always thought of leaving a copy of the entire lead card....but since u never know whos home & whos not, never felt like making a copy of every lead I visit. I was wondering if anyone had ever done this with success?

So since u dont leave ya #, do u just door knock again when you're in the area or call or what? Has it made a difference?

I just started doing this, so I dont know the results.
The trick is to touch the prospect as much as possible without being too obnoxious.

I call, and when in the area I will knock on their door again.
