I am new to the industry and learning the telesales trade. Jeff Root, David Duford, Anthony Martin, and Jason@Finalexpense are legends and superstars in their own way. I am blessed to be part of their free training/mentorship.

Leads are garbage. Most leads are garbage but they really publicly say they sell leads at their cost. All it would take to see if this is true is one disgruntled agent to file suit alleging damages (easy enough to do)...judge to issue standing and BOOM...their books are open. If they are making $ on leads they will settle and have agent sign a non-disclosure but they could never state publicly again that they don't sell leads for profit.

The data these lead companies mine is pretty low cost if you know how to get it. Paying for an actual lead thru reduced comp or money upfront is insane if you know how to get that data. A live call in you can generate a click to call inbound for $5. You could take 30 days of lead spend and learn how to do it in today's market. It's literally something a sharp 8th grader could do but if you want to be lied to go ahead.

I'll go even further. We lost a significant amount of money last year generating leads for DigitalBGA agents...but you wouldn't believe it. Just like I don't believe you can generate a click to call inbound lead for $5 - not even close.

We just shut down our live transfer program with dozens of agents on it a few weeks ago - now why would we do that if we were making money on leads?

Talk to any agent working our TV and web call ins and they'll disagree that leads are garbage. We had an agent write $62k last month on our leads. Last week our #1 agent wrote $27k on our leads. Can't do those numbers with garbage leads.

You just said you've never bought a lead in your life or worked with us. You also have no idea how we generate our data - I spoke live in front of 200 agents last year detailing exactly how we generate our TCPA compliant data. It's not buying the cheap data you reference.

It's a cheap shot to call us liars from an anonymous account without knowing anything about us.

Guessing you shut your live transfer down because you have a better close ratio on TV/Streaming/Internet click to call leads. If agents close more sales you make more money. It's all scale on your end. You are charging what for a call in lead? Betting 2.5x your live transfer cost. You don't have the cost of an offshore call center generating the live transfer. One time production cost of a video/commercial. Why the giant jump in price? You are scaling to call ins because they produce the most AP for you. They are the highest quality lead in the industry but cost hardly anything to generate compared to what you probably charge. You will price most agents out or make the point of entry too high for new agents and then you will transition to a drastically reduced comp call center model and then you will really start making money. I get it. As a business owner I would do the same. Just saying as an agent you could take 30-60 days of lead spend and produce your own commercial/video and place them and sell to the highest percentage of call in leads for pennies on the dollar for what you charge for leads. I never said or meant your leads are garbage. I mean and meant buying leads, you are buying garbage unless you are buying call ins. My only point is it doesn't cost anything near what you are charging to shoot fish in that barrel.
