Don't expect a big commision check from Coventry with week

Hey guys... use the Agent Application Tracker... that's what it is for! Instead of calling and tying up the phone lines, log onto the Application Tracker and bring up the Application Status report thru today's date. You will see everyone that is in the system on your Agent Writing Number (AWN). It will show you Pre-enrollment or Active Status. It is not perfect, there are still some bugs yet, but MOST of my clients are shown.

If I have some time Monday, I will call Broker Service and see what the hang-up is.

Guys this is the way i feel, coventry wants to screw the agent if they can and there are a lot of agents that are feeling that way,but not all cms fault you have to go with the flow commisions are what they are,but we have to make a living /doing the right thing by the client...appointment form has been no problem..they understand the stupid rule...12 submitted nothing yet buy Coventry not cms fault my company (B) who i think is the best overall 36 submitted 36 already in checking...SO BY,BY coventry, but pay me....

My agent tracker has about 2/3 of my apps on it. I have special issues with my agent status they are working on. I have a spreadsheet from the regional that shows the apps they have recd which is accurate.

Yeah... my agent status shows missing data, too. Even though it reports that I will not get paid any commissions, I am getting weekly checks. I called Coventry about this and they say I'm OK, just ignore the error message.

Like I have said, the program has some bugs.... but even if it is a work in progress, at least it is headed in the right direction. We have needed something like this for years.

Let's hope the bugs get worked out soon.

Agent tracker is useless if going through M of O.....just found that out today by asking Coventry. I'm batting a big goose-egg w/M of O today. :1baffled:

Update:

Called BSU today to discuss problems with App Tracker...

Rep said she couldn't see what I was complaining about, and admitted that her screen showed things mine didn't.

Well, I did some more scratching and found the User Guide to the Program. The so-called "MISSING" is only a description tag, not applicable to the page data. I knew I wasn't missing any requirements, because I had a letter from Coventry declaring that, and confirmed it with the Sales department. It really helps to read the instructions!:embarrassed:

(In my defense, the User Guide has only recently been posted)

The effort to research this paid off, though. I know more about the App Tracker... and it has some good stuff! The problem is that it is too new for relevant data to be shown. As more data is fed into the system, we will have access to view quite a few details about our applications and commissions. Right now, I will be satisfied if they just enter enough clients so I get paid!!! (Even if it isn't the full commission!)

My problem is we need to know that the app is in and solid before 12/31. The agent tracker does not come close to being accurate. I have apps that have been in for weeks not showing up and some that were sent in 3 days ago that are. There is no consistency and it is useless as an application tracker...which is what it is called.

So I spent hours today comparing a local spreadsheet, my apps, application tracker, and then sending a list of apps that do not appear. Many are weeks old. The local office now has all of my apps accounted for, but the national database (Application Tracker) is very incomplete. About 1/3 of my apps do not even show up at this point and clients are calling, asking why they have not gotten ID cards, ect...

Locally, I am being taken care of, but corporate seems like they have never seen an AEP before.

Yep... I agree. The regional unit is processing the apps and paying based on the received date, but I don't know how corporate is getting the data into the App Tracker. I would rather they put their effort into getting the client's app into Medicare's hands first. If they do that, then they can send me something while they find someone to keypunch the data into App Tracker. (Do you think they are still using the IBM360?:D)

BS SIR, Hey, I suggest parlaying that giant client base you have into a more lucrative career with a company like Principle or mass mutual, dont be afraid to hit the big time,
