Drugs and Ailments Cheat Sheets

Howzit Guys,

Does anyone have a cheat sheet for common drugs used by our regular clients and what they treat? Spur seemed to know most of them by heart but old guys like me are obviously going to take some time learning what's what.

I'm also looking for a list of ailments that you guys generally run into..COPD, diabetes etc.

I'm hoping to get a better idea during the presentation process of where to place the contracts when I get them.

Once again, all help will be greatly appreciated and I certainly hope to reciprocate if anyone needs my expertise.

This is tough...and a double edged sword. When you are brand new it's easy to want this...I would highly recommend that you NOT use on. I didn't and never will. If you learn 3-4 carriers really well, then you can ask about the odd ball cases...

To brag on myself, I'm pretty good with where to put people and thay is solely because i learned my carriers...thank god I've got some really good friends to help me when I'm in a pinch, Spur and JD

Also, ask questions to your upline if you get stuck in a house or post here or find an experienced agent and get their cell

I sometimes use Transamerica Rx guide to see in general what ailments they treat...but most carriers have their own Rx guide that may give better direction for a specific program

I jumped the gun. Spur sent me some really good stuff. Gooner, I'm with you on understanding the carriers. My thoughts are more along the lines of who to push to the side as the presentation process is going forward. I have no doubt that I'm going to be in the dark for a few months.

Ben, thanks man...I'm assuming that what Matt sent me is the same as what you have? I really appreciate the help.

I'm leaning towards doing a FE event at my bar in Houston some time next year to say thanks to all you guys....I'll pick up the tab.

Sounds good!!! I'll sit in the passenger seat and drink my Coronas the entire way to Houston.


Springbok has one hell of a nice bar in downtown Houston. Not something you would expect to see from an FE agent.


P.S. I think his LA location would be a lot cooler though. I can get Jenna Jamison to come
