Simplified issue does not mean no underwriting.. Almost any company that does telephone apps/approvals is going to require a telephone interview (PHI) , MIB check and script check.. I fact even the companies that do not do PHIs usually do a script check or MIB if not both. They just do them after they receive the app and usually the PHI companies do them while they are on the phone with the client.
