Enhanced Jane Leads.....

So now that I'm getting into these leads and have used them exclusively for the past month and a half, some interesting things have happened. They start out great in the beginning, when the area is fresh, the leads always come fastest. But now, on two separate occasions I've had people say yes to be contacted just so they could talk to a real person and try and get the phone calls to stop!! Apparently Jane and Steve are real persistent mofo's to the tune of four phone calls a day......lol.

I had one guy get so pissed he started screaming at me on the phone and threatened to call the police on me if I didn't make them stop. He then proceeded to call my phone incessantly just to be a douche.

I'm still loving the leads and have turned out 16K in January ( didn't start the month until the 12th) and am at 10k for this month so far all with TM leads. I jumped on the V day offer so I'm waiting on the new county to pull.

And yes, the two leads that said yes to get the calls to stop were replaced.

Anyone run into that yet?

Sounds like you need a bigger area to call on. Thad has always said you need a big area or you will burn up the area.

Time to move on and give that one a break for a month or more.

This time of the year, the direct mail is not readily available for most FE agents and EVERYONE and their mother is using TM leads.

In January, the phones are ringing off the hook for some of these folks.

Why would FE DM leads not be readily available this time of year? If a drop was scheduled mid Jan the leads would have been pouring in the last few days.

I did move to another county altogether. I'm in Jersey though....we have alot of people in a relatively small area.

Had a day last week where I was riding with either Big Stick or Selling Dog, not sure which one was with me on that day! Anyhow, 2 of the appointments had Telemarketers call while we were mid presentation.

I'm really believing the future of Fe is door knocking the leads . There's no doubt in my mind telephone appts are getting tougher as a far greater % of people won't answer the phone as they're getting hammered with solicitation.

Or people will learn to prospect, including how to work their own book of business.
