Sure, if you own a house and can afford quick chargers for all your household drivers you are good. If you live in a rented house, an apartment, a condo or many senior complexes, student housing, military bases, 10s of millions of Americans would be SOL.
Having to own a extra "got to get there" car or a truck seems to defeat the purpose.

I do believe EVs are going to be the majority one day, just not to day.
You dont need to own a quick charger. Many can plug in to a normal wall outlet for an overnight charge.
So apartment complexes could just install normal 120v outlets in parking lots at each space.
