Family First Life

I would say if you're spending 1100 on leads you damn well better be submitting 10k.

How many fe guys you know who've done $520k of premium in face to face sales off $1100 a week in leads ?That kid Ryan Lodie says he was getting 100 leads a week which is $3k a week in lead costs and he did $500k he said. Massey used to spend over $2k a week and another $500 for an appt setter and he never did $500k.I thought Mungia was the #1 fe face to face agent of all time at $504k ? It's funny how everyone throws these big #"s around but yet every single former big # guy is recruiting, Recruiting is were the big money is at. Who the hell wants to drive 800 miles a week and work 60 hrs a week selling for over a few yrs? It's not sustainable . You burn out and thats why people get in recruiting .

It's all coming back to me now , I read a lot of this thread and I didn't have a full blown aneurysm but It did remind me of the headaches. I've been doing more health and Medicare looking to add some leads and lines I'm reminded in this thread that when someone above you controls your leads there is potential for abuse. So when you give your blood money and spend 1000 bucks and get no one to answer and then you find out they've been called through or some other shit it's frustrating. The recruiter that called me was a jackass , you know the guy that writes a million dollars but has the time to call me and help me out . No thank you but that's just me

With Sr. Life Ins. Co. the FE leads come directly from the carrier, not some upline manager. That way agents know their leads are fresh and exclusive to them only. Lead financing, with no $$$ up front is a big help to some agents. Feel free to call me with any questions at 252-292-3350...Greg. I'm on est.

Hi everyone. I'm a newly licensed agent. I've been recruited by Premier Financial Alliance, Family First Group and American Income Life. Every time something felt wrong. I'm seeking guidance. I am a complete green pea. I know nothing. I just started this path.

Can someone just flat out tell me (as if I was a child) what companies are good to work with? Please point me in the right direction to a fair and honest company to start this journey with. Thank you for all the post to this date. I read this entire thread.

Here's a suggestion. As you can basically start with most everyone start a thread asking what to look out for when signing on with a company/organization. Going in is easy the gotchas come up when leaving especially big recruiting other agents.

Who owns clients, agents, and if a release is needed.. Many times when being recruited agents get sold the elevator but get the shaft by not reading their offer..

Dang. After reading pretty much this entire thread, I feel bad for my boy that signed up with them. I hope once the light does go off, he can get out of there without too many snags.

Also, that dude who posted his check wasn't even getting paid by the carriers, but FFL. Yet...these fools say there is no contract.

This is some messy stuff. Dang.

More FFL bull****. I wouldn't ever join them now, even though at one point I said I would have. The conduct and behavior of some is really doing a disservice to everyone else. (And they claim they aren't MLM - ugh.)

PSA: Apparently FFL is on a "campaign". Since I'm "friends" with many agents, I've been seeing a lot of THIS:

***
HELP
My company is drowning in requests for insurance. Does anyone know any sales reps that could help in the month of May??
Give them my cell: xxx-xxx-xxxx
***

And yes, the first one I saw, I offered to help by allowing that individual to post their request here. Then once I saw that it wasn't as it seemed and as specific as I require... I removed it.

Now I'm seeing more of them (not here, but on Facebook in general).

This is recruiting, nothing more.

Unless you have a list of people, addresses in hand, and you can answer specifically where they are and what expertise you need to work those leads... it's not real and I'm calling everyone out on it.

Any posts like that in this group (the Facebook group)... will at minimum be muted if not removed.

Just an FYI.

I'm mad at you for running the Elias Ahmad guy off before I could see how much spinning he could do without getting vertigo in answering my question about 'no contracts.'

It's weird though, man. If you look at the 1:07 mark of this video, it says right there in writing that there's no contracts signed. Then at the very end of the presentation at 21:56, they literally mention sending you the contracting paperwork to get started!

Who is falling for this?

I just told my friend there who is considering picking up his Prosperity FE contract through them that he should be at least 110%, if not higher. His reply, "We have the highest comp with Prosperity."

It's like a cult, dude. Once you're in...

That part... is absolutely true.

What do I mean? In order to represent an insurance company... you have to sign contracting paperwork. That's a contract. That should be with each carrier, but not necessarily with FFL itself. That's probably for a core insurance company to ensure that everybody offers them and then adding more as you need them.

Just a guess that would make it true.

I'm with you...but if I'm signing a contract to be in someone's hierarchy, and (from what I've seen on the forum) if I leave, I'm stuck on moving that carrier contract for the max amount of time, then what exactly is the benefit of 'no contract'? If anything, I'd want something in writing that I could be released from my hierarchy.

It's just all around greasy wording, from what it seems.

It's about what they're comparing to. They think that "non-captive" means being able to offer multiple companies, as opposed to being with a single company like NYL and similar companies.

Their "no contract" BS is just to mske you think that other agencies make you sign a contract.
Its normal for agencies to have no contract. The one or two that do are very unusual.
An independent agency advertising that they have "no contract" is like a car commercial advertising that they have windshield wipers.
