Right, I'm talking about something different. I'm not interested in what someone else did somewhere else... I was simply answering with my data and numbers the best I know how.Ken. Boman had inside information on the whole operation. He said they were #1 or #2 in persistency with the carriers . He said ares was awful but quote " imagine how bad the other telesales outfits were" . I'm going on a person who saw the inside dealings .
He WROTE $80 k of premium . According to Ben Boman who was a part owner of efes and they had a big telesales operation . He said Efes was #1 or #2 with its 2 main CO's in persistency. He said a full 50% of the policy's that were issued never placed . He did a 30 minutes you tube video on fe telesales . Go under his you tube and watch it . It was about 30 days ago .Let's say roots a unicorn and his is 70% placement . That means 30% of Sutton's policy's never made it to first draft . The bottom line as JD said Root and Sutton recruit . They have a huge vested interest to tell you the rosey side . I trust no one that recruits tu be honest . They make overrides on gross sales not net sales .

. The bottom line ......Root, Sutton and Ben recruit
Don't bring me into this. I don't have a dog in this fight. I didn't watch the video you reference nor will I. But I don't think he was ever an owner of EFES. And I'm pretty sure he's still connected to EFES.
EFES did have a call center. At one point it was ran by Ryan Caras. I have no idea what their numbers were. Nor care.
Nor do I doubt the persistency numbers that Root says his organization has. Why would he misrepresent it?
The placement is a good conversation to have. A person could have a 60% placement and have good persistency on the ones placed. That's why when I say I make more money writing KSKJ I mention placement and persistency.
In KSutton's case you could say those numbers look bad and maybe they do? But maybe they don't? Depends on one's perspective. Just say his numbers are correct and he's written $80K but lost $16K, (20%)=$64K-$25K on leads=$39K divided by 4 and a half months = about $8600/mo. Assuming 100% persistency. But he's at more than 100% contracts so any persistency should be a wash. That's a little over $100K per year after lead costs.
Is that bad? Is that good? Again, perspective. A very small percentage of US wage earners make $100K per year. Even smaller percentage of life insurance agents make $100K per year after lead costs. Hell, very few are making $100K before lead costs are taken out. Probably less than 2% of FE agents write $100K year in and year out.
I could be wrong, but my math paints a rosier picture for KSutton.
83k premium, I'm guessing he's at 110%-120%. He said he loses 20% TOTAL, with non-placements included. I'll even assume he paid $65 for every lead he got this year.
83k X 1.1 = $91,300. Let's assume he only keeps his 75% advance and loses 25% instead of 20%, so $68,475. At $25/lead, he spent $27,040, so he's left with $41,345, or $9,187/month.
At 120%, it's $99,600 gross, $74,700 after 25% non-placement/chargebacks. After the leads, $47,660, or $10,591/month (for 4.5 months).
BUT, he also said he has taken 5 weeks off from production, and it's only the 10th today, so it's really under 3.5 months of production. At 3.5 months, that's $13,617/month.
Conclusion; a 40-50 hour/wk version of KSutton is on pace to make over $160k this year, from home.
So, if I make $100K this year but I only worked 6 months I really made $200K that I just didn't get $100K of??
If you're not a marketer you missed your calling.
I said a 40-50 hour/week version of him, because that's what most people work.
Meaning if you don't think he's a world-beater and you're planning on giving it a go full-time in the same system, that's the number to look at.
So you are a marketer?
