I still don't want to see him (or anybody) subjected to mockery around his religion. But I gotta admit, from a pure public speaking perspective, that was pretty funny! I'll bet he thinks so, too!
I've done lots of public speaking and performing. When I was young, those glitches (that happen to everybody) would throw me off. But I learned that they actually humanize the speaker and have the effect of drawing the audience in.
I would never mock anyone's Christian faith, but when you put yourself in the limelight, you're asking for criticism. The "Rights" and "Amens" at the end of every sentence just make him sound like a Walmart manager.
Anyone who draws this much attention while being intentionally deceptive deserves whatever mockery comes their way.
