Final Expense Customer Service 2022

All you have to do is ask Mr. Burke to provide the contract that spells that language out in the captivity provisions and if not then his hands are tied and there's nothing he can do. I learn all sorts of tricks on here.
I have never signed a written contract with an IMO and I am sure FEX does not require one. However, an owner of the business can make the rules and also make exceptions to the rules as he pleases in the absence of a written contract. Therefore, I would be inclined to take the owner's word over that of a downline.

Which owner? Most IMO's do have contracts. And what word of one owner? Rantings on a message board?

You can continue to call FEX a captive agency. You will just continue to be wrong.

I have never called FEX a captive agency.. I just posted what an owner had to say. I cannot imagine there is a conflict among the owners over such a minor issue, but if there is, let the other owner post to clarify the situation.

Sorry, but I was never with FEX. I am not bewildered by it and all I did was repeat what an owner had stated several times. Don't know why it got your panties in such a wad. Are you saying that when a person contracts with a company through FERX, they have to actually sign a contract with FERX in addition to the company contract? :skeptical:
I stand corrected.. Just pulled my old contracts and discovered I was with 5 star for a few months late 2013, early 2014. Shortly after I contracted 5 Star sent out a notice that in order to keep their contracts they had to produce $2K per month. No big deal but I do not like production requirements.. especially if they are added after contracting so I never submitted an app. Contract was terminated May 2014.. My apologies to JD Easy

It's obviously not a minor issue to you. If you are not calling FEX captive then who are you calling captive?

There is nothing to clarify. Scott made a dumbass comment that you keep taking out of context. But you're not calling them captive. :goofy:

As for your 5 star, you posted about it here. That's how I knew.

I've never seen a contract with an IMO, only carriers.

I've signed a contract with 2 captive companies(Globe Life and Physicians Mutual).

They have them. You have never been with an IMO to focus on FE either. I had a contract with EFES. I had a contract with NAA. When FEX was starting another partner to be had a contract they were going to use. Once I read it I told them I would be joining if they used that contract. They decided against that contract.

Even that wouldn't necessarily make one captive though. I have a contract with KSKJ and every other company I'm contracted with. I'm not captive to any of them either.

I am not calling anyone captive... As far as taking Scott's posts out of context, apparently I am not he only one.. The only one making a big deal out of it is you.

Your memory is better than mine if you remember a post from 9 years ago!

That's true. I've only used multiple line FMO's and gone direct with a few carriers.
