I'll bet the direct mail company's initials are LC.

Is L2S that bad? I've never used them but they keep emailing me offers.

I know this question is the kind that gets me in hot water here but here goes anyway, if you didn't know that FE companies will let you put off the first payment for a month or more, {45 days in the case of Americo, months out in the case of AmCon}, should you be out there meeting with people?

It seems most here spend months agressively getting ready but not ever actually doing anything but the op went out without training. I suppose the second is better than the first?

I knew I could date it 30 days out but I did not know I could date it 45+ None of my carriers will do over 30 right now, except apparently monumental.

I'm pretty sure Monumental is 30 as well. You really should add ACI. They aren't perfect for every case, and their premiums are higher than others, but they really come in handy sometimes. This might be one of them for you.

L2S is owned by The Assurance Group... TAG finances the lead to the agent like LH does. When someone buys a mail drop through L2S that drop goes to the same folks that already got the Same Lead Card recently... TAG is not the type of company that you can depend on... I am not sure if they actually drop 1000 pieces or not, but I wouldn't trust them...

The second is significantly better than the first. At least he's out there trying. Lessons learn through mistake are lessons we seldom forget (and we all have plenty of these lessons in our history).

I don't know anything about TAG or the Assurance group.
It's tough to find a good DM company. Jenmarco and advantageseniorleads.com are the same company he also works under UAM lead management for Universal American

Uh oh. Guess I'm not ready then. Actually I know I'm not ready, but I got 20 prospects from cold calling. I'm sure ill lose a lot of sales being new, but you gotta start sometime.

You're doing exactly what you should. You do need to prepare but some just prepare. That's it. You have to jump right in. Get your teeth kicked in a bit. That's how you get good.

You're doing the right thing. Just go with your gut. It's usually right.
