Final Expense: Foresters Vs RNA?

I'm not saying there is a big difference but most of the time with the clients I run, Foresters beats RNA. I will do some quotes to show you.

M 60 Non smoker 10k level
Foresters is $40.77
RNA is $40.89

m60 smoker 10k level
Foresters is 55.65
rna is 64.38

M 65 non smoker 10k level
Foresters is $51.27
RNA is $52.20

m65 smoker 10 level
Foresters is 73.15
rna is 89.61

M 70 Non smoker 10k level
Foresters is $67.02
RNA is $69.60

M 70 smoker 10k level
Foresters is 95.02
RNA is $119.19

I do them everyday, I don't need examples. And, even when the price is close, RNA's member benefits far outweigh Foresters.

The only time I use Foresters is when it's a medicine thing with RNA. But, even for those I find myself using Americo and Monumental more and more.

Foresters is not priced well enough for the difficulities they present.

Foresters does make careless mistakes for such a large carrier. Don't get me wrong, they're not bad and def a player in the market. But many times they sit on apps for no reason. They mess up drafts with using wrong acct or rtg #'s when it was NOT the agent's fault. Biggest issue is their agent service's. You can never get through and they NEVER, ever...call one back. That is super frustrating enough when you need to find out info on a case right away. Enough to say "the heck with them".

On a side note...I sold...over the phone...a $10K Senior Life app to a lady who ALSO had a $10K Foresters policy. She even brought up how her's was cheaper than the SL app. She ahs had it for 1-2 years (we couldn't figure it out) and she was right. Ours was $5 more a month. BUT...I STILL sold her, solidified it and did not replace it. No...I didn't tell her to "do what she wants wink wink". I told her she needs to keep her Foresters and simply add to it...like she said she wanted to do in the beginning of the call.

I just thought I would share that for those who believe rate is everything and you can never sell a SL policy when it comes to a Foresters or RNA. If you're GOOD at what you do...you can sell any carrier whether face 2 face OR over the phone.

Now...let those who would like to blast me about "doing right for the customer" blah, blah, blah because of cheap rates...have at it. So far, I don't see any real downside to SL?

Happy Selling!;)

Congratulations on your sale!

I wish you MUCH success in Indiana and Kentucky as well as all over too.

Thanks brother! It actually was in KY so you guys can have at it. But my leads this week are actually in FL. She was a lead from last week. Just making a point and one last point that there is soooooo much business out there. You sell properly...charge backs and replacements are never an issue.

Newby I've been selling FE in Indiana almost a year now for SL using tele-sales. How many of my policies have you replaced? (The answer is ZERO).

I only cover a very small slice of Indiana. just a small fraction.

But you're right. I haven't noticed your name on any of the SL or LH policies.
