Final Expense Telesales Tips - The Reboot!

I have a couple that I have tweaked over the years. Pretty basic. I will post tomorrow.

One constant is they are printed on green paper. I can always find it in the file when I write them again.

The magic is in the margins and on the back. The notes.

Here is one. A pretty old one. Still has Fax number on it. Used to have Beneficiaries line above Notes in Bold.

Again, just a track for me to gather info for now and when I write them again.

There was a thread where several FE guys shared theirs. I have them somewhere.

Regarding texting... I believe working most strategies consistently will reap a good result as you tweak it.

However, and the chances are minimal, texting can put you in a compliance nightmare.

We do zero texting, not because of its ineffectiveness, but because of the red tape involved.

I'm curious about this as I text all of my leads. I generate my own via my websites and most of the other folks I know who do this also text their leads (most of it is automated).

What's the pitfall here?

90% of final expense agents are upside down right now. Countless of my friends are worried, afraid, and unsure of the future. I just heard TODAY that UHC is freezing all MAPD commissions in April.
Who told you mapd commission were being frozen? Sounds like marketer B.S.

Josh your saying he's texting the lead after he tried to call them? I've texted literally 100's of leads like that many times over and i bet 1 out of 50 max respond.

No lol. He's texting in lieu of calling.

He set 16 appts by text last week and closed 4 for $4200ish.

What are you texting folks?

Example, please

Bad ex: Hey Mary, You responded on facebook that you would like to buy some life insurance. Text me back your health info.

Better ex: Hey Mary, I've got that free info you requested off of face book. I also have your free gift (coffee mug with your info, memorial planner and prescription discount card, etc. BUT don't tell them what the free gift is). Call me when you can and I'll try to squeeze you in before we finish up in your area.

Best ex: THIS SPACE CAN BE FILLED WITH THE AGENTS THAT HAVE EXPERIENCE USING TEXTS. I DON'T HAVE THAT EXPERIENCE.

I'm just shooting from the hip on bad and better up above.

Again, for one agent, it's unlikely you'll get hit with an issue, but the FCC and TCPA law is very clear on this.

Warning: I said the same thing about voice broadcasting. Rare an agent would get busted. I know at least half a dozen agents who've settled out of court over it. It's typicly professional litigators who get you. They know the law.

Here's a quick overview:
