Sometimes the forum feuds are funny. But sometimes they get weird. This one got weird.
Besides, even though threads often go off track, I wish this one had stayed on track a little longer. I really need help on this work from home thing. Any tips I can get are like cool water to my thirsty soul!

Just pivot your charming personality from f2f to the phone... you probably have more skills than you are aware of.
I did not see the video, but when I did work the phones (more for appointments than sells) we used to hang a mirror so that we where looking at it when we called. It kept us aware of how our face looked when we talked. Amazing how different you sound when you are working on keeping a smile on your face when you speak. These are somethings that the women folk have a leg up on us gentlemen.

You know you got me thinking... that can be dangerous.
If I were hitting the phones hard at this moment, I would concentrate on verbage that was simple and consoling. To give reassurance to those we speak to. Men can often be too technical but at the moment people are looking for hope.
