Final Expense Telesales

Well while I agree that telesales can be a rut to get caught in. I think there is a solution for sales people in the FE industry.

I've done plenty of driving and f2f sales in different markets but there is a way to be successful with telesales, you just have to do it right ;)
Cannot reply to you. thanks for message. Can you send me your phone number. thanks

Two things:

1. GreenSky said it best. You have to pay your dues (not saying you didn't). Too much microwaving going on. People have to go back to baking.

2. I don't know if 3k is possible in FE, but very much possible in Medicare telesales if you are willing to work 8-9hrs on the fone and you can get the leads.

A freebie; if you're going to sell over the phone, in addition to your good conversational skills and charm, you will need a good script. Preferably one with a consultative sales approach.

3K in FE and 3K in med supps are two entirely different animals. 3K in FE sales at an avg of 50 per mo prem is 5 sales. With your avg med supp prem being 125 mo, you are talking 2 sales. Also keep in mind that the above production in FE would pay you nearly 3K in comm, while the same supp premium would pay you appx $ 600. Also the supp sale is a commodity sale vs a FE life sale being an emotional decision, for the most part, so not a good correlation between the two product sales, IMO. I guess they are both insurance, and from there the comparisons are slim.

You don't get 100% fyc in med supps? You must be a rookie....

Rookie... you know better than that.

"Also keep in mind that the above production in FE would pay you nearly 3K in comm, while the same supp premium would pay you appx $ 600."

OK SAI, let me go thru the keystrokes on the calculator for ya...

$ 3K of med supp prem x .20% = $ 600.
$ 3K of FE prem x 100% = $ 3,000

That is all you get on your FE and Med Supp sales??? Someone is holding out on you. :swoon:

I've sold it both ways on the phone and in person. I have agents with me who sell it both ways too. Some agents can sell one way and not the other. My suggestion learn to sell FE both ways and then go with the approach that is most comfortable. I have been writing Final Expense since its inception in the 1980's
