"My experience being independent, continuously making 20k-30k in sales a month, but at 110%-120% commission, rather than 80%....

My experience being independent, focusing on the income bracket that can actually pay their premiums (15k-50k)...

My experience being independent, not being captive, and having the ability to offer any company (the makes for more sales)...

My experience being independent, and making 20k-30k a month and seeing it go into my bank account and only having 2 chargebacks and not having the stress of a company breathing down my neck...."

What month are you talking about, I know it's not July 09.

Experience: knowledge or practical wisdom gained from what one has observed, encountered, or undergone: a man of experience

Herve' Villechaize: Da Plane, Da Plane!!!!!

Yes, July too ... I had a bunch of chargebacks but I didn't stop selling ... plus I started moving my business in June 2009 to other companies that I knew would approve my applications.

bfsbjohnson. You copied the wrong post you copied my response. I'm not bashing Jody.

Not you again! Can't you tell?

Yes, it's me again, whatever that means. And, no, I can't tell. I don't have an up to date decoder ring, so, you will have to tell me where the ghosts are.

I'm new to the site and I'm new to FE. Been selling mtg. protection with NAA for last 1.5 year. It's the same thing as Equita FE, you get lower contracts initially and per piece cost for leads in exchange for training, good training at that.
I'm no longer with NAA and am in the process of going direct to cos. for FE mentioned on Jody's site at 110% +. He has spent over 2 solid hours on the phone with me answering my questions about FE. So......spend the $50 bucks, don't spend the $50 bucks. If you need guidance, check it out. If you don't, then shut your yapper and quit showing just how jealous you are by not coming up with Jody's idea first!

BTW, last time I checked, successful people don't scour forums looking for ways to just tear people down that are trying to help others. Me personally, I started combing this forum for just one reason...information. Because of this site, I found out about Jody's site and I'm glad I did.

I was with with NAA for almost 4 years. I did very well with NAA. I was with EMG, {Equita Mortgage Group}, for a while and now with EFES, {Equita Final Expense Services}.

I agree that NAA and EMG are exactly alike. EFES is not the same as NAA or EMG.

Yoda,

If you're so smart that you've got it figured out what Jody has and hasn't done...maybe you can enlighten us on how to make a good bit of money.
It seems as though you know all the ways NOT to do it...so you must then know HOW TO do it.
Instead of putting people down with what they are attemptimg to accomplish, maybe you can live up to your own expectations and teach us all for free.
I'm sure there are some new agents on here that you could help and be proud of yourself for helping your fellow agents and all for free.
I have to wonder how many successful agents there are that got their education all for free. I know I didn't as I had to learn from someone who did know, and like everybody, their time was valuable and they deserved every penny they made off of me.
So Yoda, my question to you is....How valuable is your advice?
As I have not been active on the forum in a couple of months, I'll keep reading your posts to see if there are any that would qualify as valuable. So far in this thread....nope!:D

TODD KING IS ALIVE!!!!!:D

Come on guys, why so much hate?
Nothing like a good old-fashioned pissing contest.:jimlad:

It's only $50 to access Jody's site. For a new agent, it has some good stuff. From lead generation to cold-calling scripts to what to say in the home, it's on his site.

So what if Jody doesn't have 10 years experience?

How long does it take to learn and sell FE? Six months?

Someone with 10 years experience selling FE really has six months experience repeated 20 times.

Jim Jenkins has to be a spoof account set up by an existing forum member. Who in their right mind is compelled to set up an account because of this thread? WTF, it's a guy charging $50 to access a website. BFD!

Yoda, use paragraphs! Aside from content, you are the worst poster on the forum for how you format your posts.

It's very hard not to question the motives of most of the bashers in this thread. (jd is the exception. I don't think he really has a dog in this fight, other than defending Travis and efes.)

I have been doing FE for about 2 months now and just two weeks ago joined finalexpense101.com. I can honestly tell you, everything on there I already learn from this forum, or he/she posted it up for free here.

The most valuable info, you will get from her/his site is the list of companies, everything else you can find an answer to it here or through your GA/MGA.

Spend your $50 for your business...and search this forum thoroughly...

Not really....

You would have to spend days searching and even then it's not going to be clear on what to do.

So just to be clear the consensus is that Jody is ripping us off for charging $50? WTF? If your IMO is willing to teach you what they know and give you a 50-75 point contract & that makes sense for you, take it. Or, if being independent & getting a 100+ point contract requires you to invest in your business and that makes sense to you take that road.

In a nutshell Jody's site does have alot of info that you can find on this forum and on the internet. But, FOR ME, spending $50 to have it all in one spot makes sense. And being able to email Jody and ask questions makes all the sense in the world.

This forum is filled with people like Jody and Frank Stastny, who while selling their services, go out of their way to help agents that reach out to them and have been a huge help to me in FE and Med Supps. Jody’s site is $50 and Frank’s software is less than $300. These guys are not getting rich selling this stuff, but both will spend ample time on the phone with you to help. In my opinion, both are wonderful additions to the insurance community.
