May have to just be there and be introduced as their Medicare specialist.

I believe that if I am doing a Medicare related seminar whether educational or sales, I can't do it as part of a financial services seminar.

Their seminar is Social Security timing. They will pay for all expenses, company provided, could include meals. He asked me to check on this when I brought up CMS rules about meals, etc.

I know meals are a non-starter, mainly interested in how to be there and be introduced, if no meals, is there a way for me to talk about Medicare without it violating CMS rules.

Your thoughts?

I don't see a rule about food or joining a financial seminar if you simply are doing something educational. Do a Medicare 101 and explain how different plans (supplement, HMO, PPO) work. You might want to also point out why cancer insurance might also be beneficial.

The CMS rules regarding food are specific to MA/PDP sales seminars. You can invite people to an all you can eat buffet if you only talk medicare supplements and/or educational only.
