First Set of DM Leads

Yeah I mention life insurance and burial insurance right after I give them my card. Also about helping them get the most coverage for what they can comfortably afford.

So they know it's about life insurance and that its not free right up front.

Might as well weed out the agent killers off the start and spend time with the interested prospects imo.

A med sup client of mine died last month. Her name was Mildred. She was 88 years old.

Just got my first batch of DM leads in today and plan to go and start knocking them tomorrow. I know after looking at the text on DM card that some of these folks are going to say "I thought this was free." What is your normal response to this line?

If everyone acted and responds according to plan, everyone would sell insurance via dm. Error on the side of being direct/honest.. since they probably already suspect exactly why you're there and you'll discuss exactly why you're there after a couple steps.

Heard several of you talk about handing/showing the customer their card.....do you wait until the actual cards get mailed to you? I've just printed out the emailed leads and taken those. They've got 3 or so printed on one page and they're not green like the original of course.

I print them one to a page and then show that. I never get the actual cards.

I don't print them in color but you can print them in color if it's important.
