But lead concepts leads ask for no age, date of birth and don't even have the yr like 2021 on them .
I know lead concepts gets recommended a lot here. I do not have a problem with the no age/date/year. To my way of thinking that makes that card a "forever" lead. But there are several things I do not like that have prevented me from using them.
One thing that I just cannot abide by is that they will not send you the actual card - you only get the scanned copy by email.
I do not like that they want $30/1000 for the data list, especially when they still operate a 1982 mail house with no mapping feature on the CRM that pins every address mailed to on that drop. If you aren't going to drop the names into the CRM, then the list should be included.
There is no way to judge whether you are getting what you paid for with Lead Concepts: You don't know who should have gotten the card, you don't ever see the actual card - do they let you choose the color of the card? And if so, does it matter if you only get a black and white scanned image?
Let me explain a bit more clearly with a common occurrence when I would cold knock the non-responders: I'd knock on Ms Mary's door, and sometimes she would say "Oh, yes, I have it right here," and she'd go get the card an show it to me. That tells me that the data I got from the mailhouse is good, and the mailhouse did send the mailers to the list. If you do not get the list and door knock the non-responders, how will you ever know the leads are fresh and the mailing was actually done?
Main Street Power Mail and Kramer Direct offer a mapped CRM. I know that doesn't matter to agents who won't knock without a filled in and returned lead card, but to me it is invaluable to have that feature.
I also like being able to choose the color of the lead card. I've used pink, green, blue, yellow ... and when you knock on the door with that yellow card with the prospect's handwriting ... I haven't had one of them say they don't remember filling it out.
