For those of you using NORVAX...

Re: Norvax or Quotit

I
If you can WAIT about 3 weeks - please do so.

I am beta testing the new Norvax Broker Office right now and it will be launching VERY SOON - then compare to Quotit you might be surprised.

I thought the new Norvax Broker Office was suppose to be ready late September what happened TX?

Re: Norvax or Quotit

I appreciate your input. Norvax - you can edit the html to put rich content in. i.e. new streaming content, keywords according to your google input etc. which google/yahoo/msn spiders just eat up. If you would like to argue about this more - you can pm me.

Let's not argue, let's see your top 10 keyword rankings as an example.

Re: Norvax or Quotit

I have been with BOTH companies at some point - the best thing is to call each company and ask them each for a detailed web conference demo, figure out which is best for YOUR business and go from there...

-What carriers are quoted?
-What options can you customize?
-What is the COST of the service?
-Do you need a site built or integrate to existing site?
-Do you need hosting of site and / or email?

Neither service is perfect I can assure you. We dropped Quotit years ago because they were unresponsive to many problems such only allowing AGE instead of DATE OF BIRTH (i.e. client is 35 forever and doesn't age...) , database issues, etc., Some of my issues from a long time ago have been resolved, some have not.

Broker office is a small part of the problem with Norvax though. Did they fix the quotes the clients see? Is it possible to put some filters into the 548 quotes it produces? Can I, as a client, say I only want co-pay plans, with max OOP of $5000, and see only those plans? Will it rate Kaiser? Will it capture the filters I did as a client, and put them into broker office?

Okay, I have no idea if quotit will do any of this, but I do know the quotes produced for the client on quotit beat the norvax client quotes hands down. Doesn't mean they are right, just that it is easier to see what the plan is without having to click into everything.

1. Filters YES
2. Sorting YES
3. KAISER - Not sure I don't do Kaiser at this time

Presentation - agreed Quotit has always beat the Norvax presentation but it is a high priority for Norvax time will tell how Norvax will respond and compare.

Like I said earlier neither is perfect you just need to find which works best for your company and needs.

let's just say health insurance quotes is ranked number 8 out of 64 million. Because you didn't PM me I will now ignore you.

Re: Norvax or Quotit

Wow pretty impressive but I just went to google and look up # 8 it happense to be insure me a lead generation company.

Also this is how many results come up for health insurance quotes accourding to google: Results 1 - 10 of about 2,860,000 for health insurance quotes

Re: Norvax or Quotit

This thread has moved off topic from the original question . . . which was about quote engines, not web site optimization. Did Joe Agent get the information he wanted or not?

We may never know.

Re: Norvax or Quotit

I have Norvax and use their quote link on my website but their customer service really sucks. Call their 866 phone any hour of the day and you'll go through 30 minutes of prompts before you can get to a human being and, then, only if you're trying to reach sales.

Re: Norvax or Quotit

site just got penalized for a trick i tried - so now i'm back down to number 23. It's almost a daily job. Most seo companies will never work as hard as you think they should given how much money they want ($70 to $90 an hour.) (I had to respond from Mr.Hart)

Re: Norvax or Quotit

Used Quotit in the past. Became a hastle everytime I tried updating content on the website. Also Norvax quotes a lot more carrier in more states. Norvax customer service does suck. They do make it so almost everything that can be done on your own without trying to get a hold of someone. The bid winners for me with Norvax were:

1. Auto responder that can do mail merge and includes automated proposal generated specifically for that client.

2. Quotes Assurant in California.

3. I like the layout of the proposals much better. The main thing is that it is much easier for clients to compare plans. I think Norvax modeled ehealth.

4. The pages on the website can be updated instantly

5. Also forms for life insurance, annuities, long term care were included as part of the website

6. Client database management and calendar feature is superior to Quotit

New Broker Office just came out and it looks awesome.

I used both systems and one things I can honestly say they both suck. With the lack of options Norvax is my choice for website quote engine.

When it comes to SEO Norvax is my number one choice. My site is ranked number one right above ehealth for keyword "health coverage quotes" on google and MSN. It also ranks in the top 20 for extremely competitive health insurance related keywords. Will challenge ANY Quotit website.
