Forester's Rate Increase???

The RNA interview is already the most difficult one out there.

I'm curios why you say that. To me they have probably the best interview around. You give them the client info and meds and they read the entire question before wanting a response. There are only 9 questions so the entire PHI takes about 8-12 minutes depending on how quickly you can give them the client info.

I'll take that all day long over an AmCon interview where they turn one health question into five questions where they want an answer after every comma on the question, i.e.

in the last 12 months have you....

heart attack: no
heart valve disorder: no
heart blockage: no

At RNA they would blow through the entire question in 3 seconds and get one no.

Having to list the meds with RNA is a real pain. And they have now started asking the questions the way AmCon does. At least on the last two or three I've done they have started doing it that way.

And they will still have you passing the phone back and forth to give the meds and then talk to the person and then talk to the agent again. I told one interviewer last week that the prodedure had been changed and I could give the meds up front and she starting crying and sobbing so much that she almost couldn't do the interview.

The asking the person to go over their address after I have already given it to them is just ridiculous. And yes, it does take 10 to 12 minutes and that's far too long to be on the phone. Especially if you have a coupe. That's 25 minutes on the phone. I have other people to see.

I hate the RNA phone POS interview with a passion. I was a top 10 agent with them before the POS came into play. Now I average about $3000/mo with them.

That's not the only isue I have with them. Their business prevention ruls that they come out with almost every month are a big part of that, too.

So who's PHI do you like better?

That's kinda like asking, do you want to get shot in the head or shot in the chest?:D

I prefer AmCon's over any of them if I have to do one. They know me and I don't have to call the line that everyone else uses for the AmCon interview. I use someone in the Brentwood office. The say, "Ok JD, we know you are licensed in Ky , we know you are using a Ky app and we know your agent number and your phone number, let's get started". Substitue Indiana for Ky when I'm working there. The interview takes less than 5 minutes normaly and if there is a husband and wife they keep all the address info for the first one so we don't have to treat it as two separate interviews except for the questions. Two interviews for a husband wife takes less than 10 minutes.

Foresters is not as terrible as it used to be, but it's still a PIA. Better than RNA's, but still not to my liking.

5 Star may be the best interview, but since they give the option of not doing one that's likely the direction I will go with them going forward. I'm in the middle of having to recontract with them right now. My upline terminated with them and I'm having to move to someone else.

Well I guess I'm more interested in how it works for the rest of us rubes that don't have the red phone. We'll just have to agree to disagree. I'd do an RNA interview any day of the week over an AmCon. Did two RNA interviews yesterday and on each one the interviewer said "now ma'am these questions are a little long so please let me finish the entire question before giving me a yes or a no". That's really my only issue with AmCon, makes my ears bleed the way they ask it and it's totally unnecessary. Other than than there in not much not to like when there is no MIB or Rx check.

As I posted last year: expect to see premiums increase for those FE co.'s that have super cheap rates. Who's next...Oxford...RNA, etc.

Oxford already increased and lowered renewal commissions. Monumental lowered renewals last month.

They are all adjusting. But the people who locked in the low rates are the winners.
