One of my top agents generates leads through funeral home sponsored events. A lot of these funeral homes are owned by chains that have massive marketing campaigns at cemeteries.
At an event in May she was able to get 100 leads and is still working them this month. She was also able to get a survey filled out by each person stating exactly what their funeral needs were ( earth burial, cremation, plot, casket etc.)
Her monthly average is 9200 in ap so it works for her. A lot of people in this biz don't sell final expense as burial insurance. My whole agency markets final expense this way. I even have funeral directors that are appointed. Though they never have time to write very much biz.
Thanks. I stopes canvassing at the funeral home. I don't thing it's right. Although, I haven't been told to f;$(&:$ off. I will contact the home and see if I can attend their events. What state are you in? I'd like to get my hands on that survey.
