Gerber Life Guaranteed Issue

I know but that new med sup escalation thing they have for their top agents is a huge help. That has to be available to you. Y'all did enough business to qualify for their trip.

I've not heard of it. My wife is the one that sold all the Aetna and won the trip. Maybe she knows and I'm on a need to know basis.

Same here. I was contracted with them thru Frank. Never wrote one. I may not still be contracted. May have to look at them again?

I wrote Gerber Medsups a few years back. Their rates went up and I put them on the shelf. I received a letter last year that due to lack of production they were cancelling my contract(though I continue to get renewals). Will have to check on their rates and also whether I have to be reappointed with them.

"I've liked them too but if they don't start getting a human on the phone with less than a 30-minute wait, they will be used much less frequently."

Lost two clients (a couple) this month over this. I wrote them up 10-2011 . The lady is just one of those old stubborn types and rightfully so, was fuming that she had waited 55 minutes before the csr helping her was short and sweet telling her there was nothing she could do about her situation. Was hard for me to reason with her about this when I had a 20 min wait myself with AmCon to complain. Stop payment on the policies, but still trying to save.

I have not used them since the summer. Does their phone interview system still freeze up? I had 5 interviews in a row where the damn system stopped responding halfway through the interview ! I had to call back or stay on hold and make small talk with the customer while we waited.
Fun times:biggrin:

I stopped doing the med sup interviews over a year ago because they won't you use a speakerphone.

They do have this new med sup escalation process that is supposed to get the policy issued in 2 days. It has to have been pending for 2 weeks and be within 2 weeks of th effective date. I've only used it once and the policy was issued just as they said.

They say it's only available for "top agents" but it's a vailable to me and I'm surely not a top agent for med sups. I think I put 18 med sups with them last year.

Are you still doing FE with them. Should have clarified , the 2 policies I had mentioned were Fe with AmCon. The FE interviews were getting bush league. One of their regionals did follow up on my complaint and they showed effort in trying to help with my case. Said they have had such a dramatic increase in fe sales that they have made a lot of new hires to try and keep up , they recognize there are still a lot of wrinkles that needed ironed out and apologized. Respected that

I write mostly FE with them compared to my med sup business. I haven't had any problems with the FE interview, which are mandatory. Can't pick and chose that one like the med sup. I did have a deal where I did all my interviews direct with the home office and they took about 5 minutes since the interviewer read the whole question before asking for one answer. Not breaking a question up into 4 parts.

That manager got reassigned and I don't have that deal anymore. But I did one yesterday with a 79 year old fellow and it took 7 minutes from dial to getting the policy number.
