GI Rates ??

To get 50K, you might have to split it up. For example Columbian and Gerber will each issue 25K GI at that age.

----------

United National will issue 25K immediate benefit They only have a 12 month look back for heart attack and heart surgery..

Are you talking about United National that's in Glenview, Il.? I was asking them about their life a couple of weeks ago and was told they're discontinuing it.

I haven't been notified of that..I wonder when it is to take effect?
Oops, now that I think about it...it might be GTL that they're pulling the life products(looks like they're already off the GTL website). I do remember them saying that to sell UNL life, you have to contract through a guy...can't remember his name...then they mentioned about pulling them in October. I'll call Monday and get my "story" straight. :goofy:Were/are they price competitive, or just underwriting competitive?

The FE is high on NTU but fair on TU.. Underwritting is 12 months heart, 18 months cancer. They have a plan called the family plan that makes is pretty competitive for underwritten WL..

OOPS! I just got off the phone with GTL and UNL. Sorry, I gave you some wrong info. It's GTL that stopped offering life Oct. 1st. UNL still has all their life products. Even though I'm contracted with UNL for Medicare Supplements, I'll have to have a different contract for their life and other health products. Sounds like they have some products worth putting in my bag. So UNL's still in the life business...that's why you haven't been notified.
